Location, staff, amenities, cleanliness, everything was spot on. The only thing I didn't like is that the private room was in the dorm, with a ventillation window open to the common area and only a thin board separating it from two beds. It meant that while I had my private space (fairly big), it was just as noisy as if I stayed in the dorm.

Showers were too small, as in there was no space to keep your clothes and a towel and change that was at least distant from the shower head. Staff was often not present at the front desk. Location was poor, distant from most local food places as for walking travelers

Was clean Was kind of far from places, I don't think the AC was working as it felt like the room had zero air flow. Did not sleep well.

Simple but efficient rooms. Hotel is located in between most common neighbourhoods of Taichung next to the main road Taichung Boulevard. Shower would make the whole space wet due to inefficient shower screen. My room wasn’t cleaned in between nights and the frontdesk employees are not available the whole day and barely speak any English.

The front desk girl was friendly. I can only suggest she improve her English more. Unfortunately for her ... my Chinese sucks. I NEVER take taxis so it was a little far of a walk from Taichung Main station. But, that's the only complaint. : ) Oh also, the kitchen has some unusual signs for a hostel "Don't touch"

It’s a big room with many bunk beds but you can’t feel it’s many people. Every bed has its own privacy. Only one woman’s toilet.

Fire alarm starts, we ran through the fire escape, and there was no light, I stepped on piles and piles of cigarette butts, by the time I ran to the 3rd floor, the escape had pile of furnitures/mattress, I almost fell down the stairs, the hostel is on 7th floor, though the fire alarm turned out to be false, but what will happen when there is a real emergency? The hostel and its building have not meet the overall the basic escape rout a hotel business should have, this place is dangerous. Also, I was only who have figured out where the fire escape is located, everyone else didn't even know where its located, so some went down with en elevator, because the main stair way was closed off on 6 floor!

super clean. has an elevator for those who have a suitcase(very helpful). nice views at night time. very quiet place to stay. the place was spacious and lots of space for luggage location even though its close to the night markets, it was a 50min bus ride to the tainan high speed rail. just be prepared to travel a long way to this hotel from there. otherwise , once you get there, you have 2-3 night market choices to go too!
