I loved how friendly the staff was. The hostel itself was also super clean and cozy. The hostel in an alley so all taxis had to go to the main road but it is only about a 2 minute walk.

3N stay at TWD1,350 with no prepayment required. There is no doorbell but the owner asks for your check in time in the morning to be ready to open the door for you when you arrive. The 5-bed room on level 3 has its own toilet/shower so there is no need to exit the room for it. First time seeing this despite having stayed in over 30 hostels/dormitories. Having the entire room to myself for most of my stay which was interesting but this place really deserved more people. The small little things scattered through the building (e.g. small little mini candy bar, etc) and the atmosphere just makes one feel better after much walking in Tainan. Code access to the property n room instead of a key or keycard, just a bit troublesome as it was10-digit. Two pillows. A bit scary walking up to the dryer above the washer but didn't get to use it in the end due to insufficient change but the heater in the room at 32°C was quite helpful in drying the thinner clothing overnight. The stairs are a bit steep though that is to be expected, it's just that one of the handrails is a bit loose n really scared me when I first held onto it. The bunks are missing a curtain/divider next to each other but it was solved easily through diy with the additional blanket provided in the room.

Good location, beds were comfortable and shower facility was also nice to use. Friendly host, he is not on-site all the time but is responsive. Only 1 toilet / shower for 6 beds is kind of limited. The communal area wasn't as nice as it was kind of deserted. Not really a travellers' vibe around.

Spacious dorm, nicely decorated. The bathroom is small and ensuite. At night you can clearly hear other guests showering, blow drying their hair, using the bathroom. If you need to use the bathroom but somebody is showering, you'll have to wait. Dorm is on the third floor with no elevator.

They were very friendly and accommodating. The room was great, plenty of room and it was quiet. Ideal as well, since it’s close to the shuttle bus going to the train station.

- Cleanness overall - Easy check-in - No water in dispenser at 2nd floor for 2 days - No kitchen, no dishes - No light for each beds - No curtain at one side (not completely closed)

location was so nice just near by the famous tea shop, lamb soup store and close to the temple as well Everything was fine

Really nice staff, Ryan speaks great English and helps out a lot. The small 4p room was ours for the night. It did include a small sitting area, nice beds and a small bathroom just outside in the hallway. The internet was not great, there are really no common areas, just a hallway where you can get water/tea.
