Silks Place Tainan

Great location. Room very spacious The refrigerator did not keep food or drinks cold, so we had to repeatedly ask the staff for ice. To their credit, the staff responded quickly each time and were very helpful. Our room was also next to an exit door, and food odors frequently drifted into the hallway. Unfortunately, the smell was unpleasant and detracted from the overall experience.

Shower pressure is bad. Breakfast variety was not good.

The room was amazing and the hotel overall is very beautiful. The location was great and pretty walkable to nearby places. Staff are all very helpful and friendly. Hotel is overall very clean. The only complaint: I didn't get the room that includes breakfast, but decided to eat at the hotel one day. Instead of charging me before / after the meal (or simply to my room), the server decided to come during the middle of my meal. It felt very disruptive and I'd appreciate it if I didn't have to get up in the middle of my meal to pay.

We came here expecting a luxurious experience given the high price of our Jr suite. While the room itself was very nice (especially the large double soaking tub, separate large living room, comfortable bed and linens, free minibar, etc), they put us in the “Teddy Bear” wing of the floor. The “Teddy Bear” wing means our suite felt like we were living in a “giant nursery school”, with giant smiling bears on every wall, bright childish colors on wall murals with the teddy bear theme. It was so off-putting and cheapened the entire experience of having a beautiful suite to ourselves. I complained to the front desk upon checkout just so they would inform people before they assign such an inappropriate space like that. I wish we had refused the suite the day prior and got another. However we were so tired when we arrived we just plopped on the bed for a quick nap. After that we didn’t feel like moving. This is often the case, we rarely ask for another room. So while the experience was 3*, I put 4* because the property itself was nice and the suite itself was spacious.

The hotel is new and modern and it has qualities that make it the perfect place to stay in Tainan: location, service, amenities. The room is spacious, clean, and comfortable.

Shampoo, condition, and bath liquid. The quality of them can be improved.

Close to shopping and many restaurants. Room was spacious. Nice touch with free snacks and minibar, although very minimal. Heard very loud aircraft’s flying close by. Asian restaurant upstairs was dark with no windows and food was only fair. Big variety. First floor western breakfast was better with good ambience.

The room is spacious and local attractions are nearby. 1. The room is no view at all, 2 windows facing walls of neighbors. It seems against my booking terms “with city view.” 2. Facility maintenance. One of basins runs water slow, the seat doesn’t fit the toilet well may cause injury.

The property was beautiful and centrally located in the west central district right next to a big mall and within walking distance to several attractions. The rooms were beautiful and really well thought out. We loved every minute. Staff were helpful and friendly. Loved everything

The location was great, easy to get to many places. 地點很棒，就在市中心. 旁邊就是新光三越百貨公司，十分熱鬧. I booked a family room and requested a 3rd bed, but when we arrived, the front desk staff asked me to pay additional NTD $1800. I paid the additional charge, but when we got to our room, the room was so small and there was NO way that a 3rd bed could fit. So I ended up cancel the request. I never got to speak with the manager even though I requested so .

Great place. Most of all the staff was perfect in providing service and in customer interaction!

The room was beautiful. The location was great as a base for exploring Tainan. We enjoyed the gym and pool. The room included a welcome basket with snacks and a nice amount of drinks in the fridge. Perhaps this is to be expected in a tropical climate, but the room generally felt humid unless the AC was very cold. This did not impact our sleep in any way but it did feel damp at times.

Nice property great location All was ok

Silks staff were very helpful. The first room had a off smell but the staff helped us changed rooms. Entry to silks was looks good at night it was a middle location for me to travel around Taiwan. The hotel has a taxis stand at the front and the staff help get you a taxi, which was fantastic help and great service. Silks was not close to much which is why I had taxised to all areas. The first room had a smell but i got our rooms changes. Fantastic staff. The hotel wasn't the newest hotel but was good for its purpose of being a place to rest.
