Comfortable bed, quiet, great location, friendly staff Reception is not always staffed

The location is very nice. It is located in downtown Tainan, close to many restaurants that serve local specialty delicacies. Because it is also near one of the nightlife districts, we could just walk back to the hotel after drinking or finishing skewers, which was fantastic. The limescale in the bathroom was not okay. Seriously, I thought I was at my own bathroom taking a shower—well, actually, no. The limescale was even worse than what I have back at my own place. There were several cleanliness issues: 1. There was mold on the silicone in the bathroom 2. There was dust covering the box in which the towels were kept for us It wasn't a very clean hotel. However, I wasn't allergic to anything (I didn't have any rashes or hives), so that's good.

The decoration was pretty good, the theme is well done. I had some of their beers, tasty. I liked having a balcony which by the way is shaped like a beer bottle when viewed from the ground. It was a decent hotel. Good location, near many nice places to eat and walk around. Friendly staff! Late at night, the front desk staff would leave and one of the entrances were locked. So if you were coming home, you HAD to enter from one side, sometimes Ubers would drop me off on the wrong side and I'd have to walk around. I also wish the room was slightly wider, made it a little difficult to unpack/pack my suitcase but manageable.

Local craft beer selection is impressive! The bed is also VERY comfortable :)) The air-conditioner seemed a bit old, causing some noises. The bathroom, especially the shower, could have cleaned a bit more in depth.

I loved the idea of a beer-themed hotel as a beer aficionado. The room was a decent size, the bed comfortable and my room was quiet (the other room facing the street was noisier but not unbearable). The TV had a channel that seemed to be a live stream of Taipei airport runways which was surprisingly fun to watch. Finding staff was occasionally difficult, but they were friendly. Location was ok-ish, there were some spots to eat and drink around, but I think next time I'd stay in a different spot. Just felt a bit out of the way. We stayed on the 5th floor. Immediately out of the lift the signage seems to indicate you're on the 4th floor for some reason - I think its meant to be a joke, but really just confused us. I might be a little harsh on the scoring, but this was the most expensive hotel I stayed in across Taiwan (except Taipei) and it just felt a little...meh for the price paid. Given the money paid, a free arrival beer might have sweetened me a bit.

Surprisingly quiet, despite being next to a construction site and police station. Superb location, very easy to walk around and lovely streets nearby to explore. So many great places to eat nearby. Appreciated the bottled water stopped each day. We were very early for the check in and they provided a locker for our bags and there was a bar to relax at downstairs. Hot water in the shower was a little inconsistent - sometimes took a while for it to heat up.

The location of the hotel was good with a convenience store nearby. Check-in/out was convenient and fuss free with a self-check in counter. The cleanliness of the hotel was a bit lacking. There were stains on the bedsheet and towels.

This hotel has the best bed in this trip -- very comfortable and four pillows are provided. Room is spacious and well laid out. Location is a short walk from bus stops on routes from the train station. Because it is located between Anping District and the Tainan Train Station, the parks, shops/markets, museum, and interesting alleys are within 20-minute walks. A more thorough cleaning of the room would be great. Noise from the hallway can be heard because the door is not sealed properly. But if there are no other guests on the same floor, it would always be a guaranteed peaceful sleep.

Good location and check into staff were friendly if a bit unable to do much. Stayed three nights, no new towels or beds being remade. Wasn’t the worst but for price you’d expect just a tad bit more service.
