Good location. Bang in the middle of everything. The bathroom honestly. The shower was broken. The bed moved around a lot.

Located in the middle of the West Central District, walking distance to several attractions. On a busy road. Building has old plumbing.

The location, the style, the lounge The fact that we had to put toilet paper in a trash to not clog the pipes, and that the trash was not an odor free trash… Also mold on windows

Root Chew is a little hidden gem — tucked off a bustling local street full of food stalls, flea market vendors, and great spots, but somehow completely quiet and peaceful the second you turn the corner. Spotlessly clean, walkable to everything, and the top floor lounge with tea, coffee, and snacks was a nice touch. Unbeatable location, totally relaxed vibe. I'd come back to Tainan just to stay here again. Staff can be a little hard to find, but we barely needed them so it wasn't an issue.

The rooms are spacious and the beds were big and comfortable. Also, the location is quite convenient with a lot of food options close by. There is a spacious lobby on the top floor with a water dispenser. Though I did wonder why the staff didn’t tell us when we arrived and could not check-in yet. Generally, the staff was very friendly and polite. The internet wasn’t working very well. They have this concept of every room having a router but basically everyone knew the WiFi password for each room WiFi, so not sure if that’s why ours wasn’t working well (maybe others were logged in as well?). The reception was very friendly in trying to resolve the issue but internet continued to be unstable.

The bed was very firm by Western standard but I prefer firm bed.

Good sized, clean room. Comfortable beds and shower had good pressure. Large counter for luggage. Nice location near lots of food. Nice sitting area on the sixth floor. They were helpful - I asked for a room in a quiet area and got one. They called a taxi for us. All good.

Staff members are all very helpful. Rooms are clean. Location is not the closest to main attractions but kinda falls in between.

Great location, and the 6th floor lounge is nice It seemed like maintenance needed to be done. A light burnt out in the bathroom, and some old towels that should be retired.

The room was very large, very quiet room overlooking a parking lot. Great location, half a block away from many restaurants. The lounge was very nice, there's a coffee machine and snacks and a couch and table. Nothing.
