It’s very unique, nice design, tasteful, and clean. Up and down the stairs to use the bathrooms.

This is a lovely little hostel tucked away in a nice alley in Tainan. It was dreamy to stay in an old renovated Japanese style building like this. Everything was perfect for my stay- clear instructions, friendly owner, clean hostel, hot water, plenty of bathrooms and showers, comfortable bed, and a locked bed area. I’m surprised the ratings for this hostel are not higher because it really is a gem. As a bonus, the hostel has a really good coffee shop attached. Also, Jerry was really helpful helping direct me to the BEST local vegetarian food stall for breakfast.

Super cute, and in a fun part of Tainan. Lots of winding little streets to explore :) The owner was kind and welcoming, the facilities were a wonderful mix of modern and traditional. I would highly recommend.

liked the location style of the building owner super nice hot showers lots of different places to relax and not just one common area price good it was cold most of the time coming in January I guess it is to be expected great for other warmer seasons

The location is wonderful and the place is pretty cool. The price was a little high for a mixed dormitory room. Sound proofing is not great.

The Bad: It's very small (13 beds) so no real hostel vibe, beds and baths are on different floors, no self-catering (just a fridge, microwave and cups), only one small indoor table for work or study, 2 of the 3 baths have a urinal in your face when you sit on the toilet, they don't accept credit cards but accept PayPal. TIP #1: Check the hostel's website before booking -- the price was much lower than other sites. TIP #2: If you use the bath near the front entrance at night, take your key or you may be locked out of the hostel.

Very cosy, lovely place to relax. You won't want to leave the hostel. It has wonderful nooks to read, write, and draw whatever your hobby is. A whimsical hostel in a whimsical alley. See how many snails you can find. Haha, I bet you lose count. Where to clean dishes was confusing

It’s a lovely hostel, were you can really feel a lot of love was poured into making it, everything is great about it. Definitely stay here in Tainan !
