Rooftop pool was excellent The rooftop pool had limited midday hours which is when we wanted to use the pool.

Clean and comfortable. Pool hours were odd, opening at 8:30am and closing at 11am for most of the mid day. Breakfast was basic.

This hotel was one of the highlights of our stay in Taiwan. Located a ten-minute taxi ride from the train station, it is situated on the edge of the downtown area—slightly away from the hustle and bustle, yet within easy walking distance of all the local points of interest. The decor is tasteful and modern, and our room was spacious and clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the staff were kind and helpful. The dining room overlooks the city and serves delicious Asian and Western cuisine, featuring fresh fruit and a wide range of breakfast offerings. And then there is the rooftop pool with that view! Overall, we had a great stay and will definitely return. Many thanks to the hotel manager, Lilli, for arranging a driver for a day-long tour of Taitung's eastern seashore. Highly recommended

The place was very clean, even the lobby smelled good. They lent us umbrellas so we could go to the night market when it was raining. Staff was super nice.

The location was perfect. Close to the local bus stop so easy to get to the train station for day trips, close to the lovely craft night market as well as the food night market outside the Sheraton hotel. We found some excellent vegetarian restaurants an easy walk away. The room was lovely. A view over a construction site was worrisome when we checked in but we could not hear any construction noise. My husband made good use of the roof top pool. The view from there was lovely. We had very little interaction with the front desk staff but they seemed pleasant. The breakfast buffet was plentiful. My only comment would be that the vegan items were well identified but the vegetarian options were not. The staff working the buffet had limited English so didn’t understand my question, not being able to differentiate between vegan and vegetarian. I take full responsibility for not being able to read Mandarin but felt the hotel likely prepares beautiful vegetarian, they just don’t identify it as well as they could. The cereals were all heavy sugared. A hearty granola would have been nice. These are suggestions, in no way a complaint. This is a really nice hotel.

Location good with a 5 minute walk from the bus station. Took bus to Xiaoyeliu scenic seaside area and visitor centre, walked around well maintained walkways. Website offers a free shuttle to/from train station but only if purchased at time of booking and included in the room rate. They would not allow us to use the shuttle on departure without additional payment hence it cannot be a free shuttle. There was a large construction site next to the hotel. Limited buffet style breakfast served in bain-maire which went cold quickly. Did not use the swimming pool as everyone needed a swimming cap.

Very nice place very friendly and helpful staff. The room is very comfortable. As a single traveler, meal choices were unavailable due to restaurant closures or needing reservations. Also the bar never opened so I had to go down to the Sheraton for a drink.

The room, breakfast, location and the front desk staff were all helpful and friendly. I love that they offered to used their bicycles for free to all the customers for an hour. The hotel is brand new and modern, close to the bus station, restaurants and Sunday markets. None

Staff helpful at ordering taxis Breakfast very average, limited fruit options Poor on site restaurant for dinner, needed to book 24 hours in advance so that didn’t work out and v expensive with no one eating in it, so glad we didn’t actually get to eat there

Good choice for a hotel

Good location in the city close by the night market; however the in-room fit-out, furniture and decorative is so bland, and uninspiring, you really only want to sleep in the hotel. There is clearly no passion for hospitality in the owner veins. Decoration (inexistent) and interior design.
