The onsen could have been nicer .., I saw a big spider on the wall on the way and couldn’t go back to my room for a towel. When I got to the onsen I didn’t have a towel either me!
-
The rooms were spacious and very clean, breakfast was excellent and the onsen was very refreshing. I loved the free shuttle between the station and the hotel. It would be amazing if you had a luggage to station delivery service after check-out - something to think about. The hotel was very luxurious.
-
The hotel offers a beautiful view. The breakfast is so good. Other facility is great we really enjoys the onsen with the view. The room is huge and the bed is comfy. It is a huge hotel with 3 buildings and located on the mountain. Its not so comfortable if you like to explore the city in the night.
-
A bit remote, but they have very frequent shuttles.
-
I didnt like that all restaurants were fully booked days before, so the only option was a cafe so we had to eat from outside after a long drive. Not sure how 3 restaurants can be fully booked for dinner but thats not very convenient as the hotel should be able to provide space to eat for all guests. Abit odd

Shuttle service close to attractions Cuisine, information, facilities

The Takayama Associa has the best hotel onsen in Japan... the views of the Japanese Alps from 50 meters above ground level... best in winter with snow-capped Alps.
-
shuttle bus was great that the restaurants were only open for a few hours in the evening, would of been nice to have access to a bar or small cafe during the day

Lovely warm hotel with delicious food and drink options. Great design, layout, rooms, spaciousness, view, hot spring and more. The staff made a mistake with a booking of ours but sought to correct it fortunately which definitely improved our stay knowing the staff were there to make you feel happy and comfortable. This isn’t a dislike but, there wasn’t anything particularly memorable about it. Great stay and zero complaints especially for the price, but it wasn’t “wow”. It was, nice.
-
Nice room with nice view. The room size is good enough for 3 of us. Breakfast is delicious and lots of varieties to choose. The onsen is nice too. It is better to have a car to go around. But the hotel provides a shuttle bus to Takayama town.

The room on the 17th floor in the Alps wing was very spacious, even with 2 large suitcases and 2 trolleys, so was the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. The view from the window was fabulous. The breakfast and dinner buffet offered a rich variety of Asian and Western dishes. The Onsen was very well maintained. The staff at the reception and the restaurant were efficient and helpful. Since we came by car, the location outside of the side was no issue. Nothing I can think of.

Onsen was fantastic. Nice breakfast. View was great. Comfortable room. Nothing

This accommodation was absolutely amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful! The food at breakfast is phenomenal and we also had dinner at the buffet one night and had dinner at the Japanese restaurant. I have tattoos so I was not able to enjoy the big hot springs but I did get to rent a private one and it was nice! Not near town. Have to take bus from hotel to train station but it’s free! And comes every hour! I wish they had a sauna for the private onsens.

Everything is so great; the spacious room, spa room are so perfect with the view, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. A great option for Western and international breakfast. I really enjoy it! I wish the WiFi provided by the hotel were a bit faster!

Super onsens, I’ve decided to try public one - it’s was great, so beautiful neighbourhood, and I liked that they serve a shuttle bus from and to Takayama Station. Good breakfast It is difficult to get to the city's main attractions, as it is located slightly outside the city, and you need to take a shuttle bus
