The hotel is very has a beautiful modern aesthetic. The staff are very friendly, and the restaurant has great food. It’s located just a few blocks from the train and bus station making it easy to haul your luggage, but it’s still reasonably close to the historic downtown area, river, and downtown where it is easily walkable. The Onsen is peaceful and well done. I have no complaints at all

Excellent location, meal, onsen, amenities, staff, and one of the best stays I had in Japan. Solo traveling and this was one of my favorite stays, really lovely and would stay again. Nothing, I really enjoyed my stay.

A nice hotel in a great location in Takayama, it was fairly standard but the room and amenities were amazing for the price paid. Would recommend for sure! Nothing all was good !

Onsen with a lounge that has great view, walkable to the old streets for food and convenient stores, a child play table is available at the lobby and many amenities are available (along with coffee and tea self service). Free night snacks is also awesome. Parking requires payment and due to limited slots right by the hotel, you will need to park at their partner parking a distance away. We got a double bed room, so the bed is a little cramp for 2 adults and 1 toddler.

Even though you didn’t add the dinner option, you can get some food without a reservation. The food was very delicious especially Takayama ramen. The staff were all friendly and helpful and I highly recommend. The individual washing area at the public bath were only 6 or 8 and I had to stand and wait until it was open. You can check if it is crowded or not with the monitor in the room so go there when it says not crowded. There are two washing machines and dryer which is very helpful.

the dryer for clothes is really bad. It took 120 minutes to dry one load of clothes and I still had to hang dry some socks.

Everything was beyond lovely - perfect location, helpful and friendly staff, wonderful food (if you chose the half-board option), and the onsen was a blessing at the end of very long walking and travel days. Would certainly recommend!
