Room was on second floor

Very nice room with all the facilities.. Nothing...

We had a wonderful stay at Thanyaporn Hotel Takayama. The unit had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The owner was extremely helpful — especially when our luggage didn’t arrive with us. The airline was able to communicate directly with the owner, who kindly arranged for our luggage to be delivered to the hotel two days later. We really appreciated the support during what could have been a stressful situation. The location is also very convenient: within walking distance to the train station and Nohi Bus Center, Miyagawa Morning Market, and Takayama Old Town. There are also several supermarkets nearby, making it easy to get daily necessities. Overall, a great place to stay. Highly recommended! None

The room is clean and spacious enough for four people. There’s some space next to the sofa to store our luggage. Parking is easy. After I booked the room, I had specifically mentioned my preference for a ground floor room due to a knee condition. However, I have been assigned a room on the 2nd level.

Great location, within easy walking distance to train station and other sites. There was no washing machine on site but there is a laundromat nearby that was very nice.

It was a little bit more spacious than I expected! Hahaha, I was probably too used to the very small rooms in the cities. They were clean, beds were comfortable, water heated up well, and had little to no noise at night. The kitchen had a stove, fridge, and plenty of utensils, which was great. The laundry room was right next door, and the location was excellent - within 10-15 mins walk to major train station and local attractions. I requested a ground floor (i.e. first floor) room since my parents have leg and back issues and they cheerfully accommodated us, which was greatly appreciated! Also, they left some origami paper with instructions, which was lots of fun - my mother enjoyed making paper cranes! There was no tea/coffee/etc. (as stated), so I had to go to the nearest convenience store (konbini) or supermarket to get some. Within a 10-minute walk, so a minor inconvenience only.

Location. Convenient parking. No lift, thus challenging to bring heavy luggage up for rooms on second floor.

2 bedroom apartment. Clean. Simple. Checkout at 10am is a little early. Host refused later checkout. No opportunity to send luggage on to next hotel. We had to take our case to Japan Post office. Luckily only 5 minutes walk away.

No elevator

The apartment was very clean. More than enough of towels for 4 of us. The toilet and the bathroom are separated ?. The toilet is a bit small. One of the bed was sunken and uncomfortable.

The location is easy to find and within walking distance of the old town, train station, and bus station. The hotel also provides private parking spaces. There is no heater in the living area, making it too cold in winter. However, opening the bedroom door helps share the heat between rooms.

I like the kitchen . No hooks on the wall in the room to hang clothes.
