Great staff! Good location. Super clean!

The 2nd receptionist was WAY more informative, friendly, and accommodating! It is in a great, accessible area of town, and I love that it was listed in Grab as a pick up/drop off point. The wet bathroom had a foam floor so it never got fully dry and there was a plastic mat that squelched everything we stepped on it. Also, the tile for the step to the toilet was broken. The beds were too firm that my parents were uncomfortable. Additionally, the concrete platform my parents were on made it hard to navigate the room in the dark and made it hurt all the more when we stubbed our toes.

Bare bones hostel with very basic rooms and toilets. Clean and tidy with a nice garden smoking area. Location is the best right in the middle of everything.

Great location, there’s a 7-eleven 10m away from the hostel entrance. Place was very cheap for a 3-bed dorm. Toilet was clean and the beds were tidy with lots of space in the room. Staff was very friendly. Found a cockroach in our slippers while checking out. The toilet door is one of the sliding ones that doesn’t isolate the sound of the toilet from the room - although there’s enough space to place a proper door.

Warm showers, good shower pressure, mini fridge, shared kitchen, great air conditioning, very friendly staff, super nice cat. It was quite noisy as we were right infront of the smoking area. The fridge got so cold and froze most of our things and the glass bottles of water that are provided, one of them shattered in the fridge due to the bottle freezing and WE had to pay for it which is completely ridiculous as it was the hostels fault not ours. There were also ants and some critters in the bathroom.

The people managing the place are amazing. Honestly an added value. The position is great too, really central and near the busses to the beach and other areas. Noisy people overnight in the common areas, a few times I had to get up at one or two am to ask people outside to be more quiet. Even if 11 pm is the quiet time, it should be reminded to all the guests that they are not alone, because many don't care.

Very friendly, helpful staff :) The location is great, only a short walk away from everything you need - plenty of bars, restaurants and a 7/11 a few doors down. Comfortable bed, good AC and free filtered water available. Pleasant outside area with tables and chairs. If you’re there on a Sunday, make sure you check out the Walking Market! Our window for the bedroom faced the corridor, so we had the blind down constantly for privacy. Could be a little loud in the mornings, the walls were a bit thin.

Superb location on ranong Road with public transport right on the doorstep. Kind and friendly service, it was a pleasure to stay there.

Great value for money, clean rooms and exceptional location! I usually don’t choose new accommodations because I prefer to book a stay that has more reviews so I don’t get any nasty surprises! Glad that I took a chance on this quaint hostel. It was clean and the courtyard has a nice cosy, oasis vibe. Given the great value for money and how close it was to old town I would definitely book again. We were in a courtyard room and we had a really noisy group gathering there one morning. Not a deal breaker though since we didn’t have any other issues with noise when other people were hanging out there, and you don’t hear anything from the street.

the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The little garden is really lovely, it was so nice to relax is this quiet little nature oasis just outside my room, far from the fumes and the noise of the street outside. Great value for money. some extra hangers in the room would be an advantage, as well as any source of light above the mirror, but it was not a big issue

This is a fantastic property and it will likely suit your travels well. It opened just a few weeks ago, so it still has that "new hostel smell". (That is a figure of speech, there isn't actually any smell.) While a couple of blocks removed from the main old town area, this is fantastic as the area itself is very quiet. Which is especially interesting, as if you decide to get up early and go for a walk, say 5:30 or 6:00 am, you'll be shocked by the bustle just outside your door. This is a wholesale market area, so you'll see all kinds of (I imagine) retailers and restaurateurs stocking up for the day. And yet you don't hear a bit of it inside. I recommend making a point to get up early and go observe the action. In the room itself, I found: a very comfortable bed, soft towels, great water pressure, powerful AC, sufficient wifi. It was clean and well-lit, if not drowning in natural light. However, right outside my room's door was a lovely courtyard that was a great place to watch videos in the evening or drink coffee in the morning and get sun. There was a common kitchen area that I didn't use except to fill up my water bottles from the instant hot and cold filtered water and to wash my coffee cup. There are supplies to cook for yourself. Opal and Zaza were pleasant & helpful & all smiles. I also met the owners and they were kind and pleasant as well. English is well-spoken at the front desk. They arranged transfers to my next destination for me and I was very pleased with that transaction and the service supplied as well. That's not really on the hostel, but they seem to have contacts with good service providers, so I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future for any bookings. Because there is foot traffic from the market activities all night long, I considered this to be an abundantly safe area. A+ to everyone at RYB! I had a great stay and would absolutely stay again in the future. There is literally nothing that I didn't like.
