Extended Stay America Suites - Tampa - Casino Area

The Extended stay (6780 MLK Blvd) ,is where we stayed. The room was clean and comfortable. Most of staff was nice. Our first day we were at (6780 MLK Blvd), we paid for a room at the Extended stay at( 12162 Morris Bridge Road),by accident . So we immediately went to front desk and told a supervisor and she advised me to go to the hotel and cancel the reservation at the Extended stay at (12162 Morris Bridge Road) . We went to hotel and canceled the reservation but have not received a refund. ;( We did stay at (6780 MLK Blvd). Lastly one of the housekeeping employees was very rude to us. We asked for clean towels and she gave us the hand and walked away. That was so unprofessional and disrespectful. Why was she at the front desk? We will not be coming here again.:(;(

Was charged twice for my room and still haven’t got my refund

I was blown away by how clean and practical my room was, not to mention, everything looked brand new. I was helped at checkout by Ms. Will, who asked about my experience and thanked us for choosing that location. Thank you for making the experience so comfortable and inviting, while also offering me a reasonably affordable place to stay. By no means cheap-looking or underwhelming. Great experience!

My son was delayed and arrived around 1:45 a.m. After waiting 15 minutes for someone at the desk, he called me. I dialed 0 from my room, but no one answered. When we finally reached someone, we were told they had CANCELLED our PREPAID room as a “no-show.” My son said the counter person, the reception person threatened to call the police when he asked her to contact me to verify the reservation. I went to the lobby and calmly explained the situation. The Reception person was rude, refused to help, and said the problem was that he arrived late. When I asked if he could simply stay in our room, she threatened to call the police and have us removed! I was polite throughout the entire interaction. There was no concern or attempt to help, only hostility and threats. My son ultimately had to drive hours back home. What should have been a special birthday weekend was ruined. A simple warning about the check-in deadline would have prevented all of this. Being treated this way after prepaying for three rooms was completely unacceptable.

I would give this 0 starts if possible!! Worst stay anywhere ever!! From the moment I checked in Ms. Will was u unprofessional, argumentative and harassed my family member until she left work that night after 11pm. The beds are absolutely horrible, cheap, uncomfortable. The hallways smell. And do not expect any rest with all of the doors slamming all night and the people above my room sounded like they were going to come through the ceiling. I checked out very early as I couldn’t wait to leave!! Grab and go breakfast was a joke!! Couldn’t get any worse!! 0 stars!!

There was no deposit to stay, clean and quite. The front desk personnel are very polite and professional. Best rest in the 3 days we stayed in Tampa's hotel.

We arrived at 2:50 to try and start the check in process, but due to them being short staffed with house keeping so the room wasn’t cleaned we agreed to come back at 3:30. We ended arriving at 4pm, and they were still unsure if the room was cleaned, so we had to wait an extra 10 minutes to resolve the issue. The staff was very nonchalant about everything. The hallways had a smell as well but not sure if I’d stay again.
