The view was beautiful and the pool was nice. It was not as pictured and the ac was not working well in the main living space. It was so hot we were unable to stay. One of the showers in the apartment did not work properly and was hot and unusable. We tried contacting the numbers provided for support but both would not go through.

The room size was good and we had a balcony. The elevators took forever. The room had the bare minimum for it being an owner condo. The place seemed to be a great one in its time but it has’t been maintained. Only 2 picnic tables to be used at the pool. No place to sit at the beach. When traveling, it is difficult to bring your own things so I will not stay here again. Also far from downtown.

Only one roll toilet paper for 7 days. No paper towels to clean after washing dishes had to buy. Had to buy batteries for tv remote.

The hotel pool was large, quite deep and long enough to be suitable even for swimming training (~20 meters in its longest parts) as it was mostly empty. Location ideal for exploring Penang via public transport - bus line 101, which covers most of the points of interest, stops right at the hotel. Infrequent direct airport bus available too. Few good restaurants and a hawker centre within short walking distance. The living room couch was a little stained and not exactly inviting to sit on - could use deep cleaning once a while. Lifts in the building had somewhat longer waiting time in peak hours (but still bearable, never longer than 5 mins wait).

The hotel needs a complete makeover! Everything is old and outdated, I did not even have WiFi in my room! This only happened in Germany the last time 6 years ago. Impossible for a business travel. A full NO GO. The room equipment worked badly.

Had a great stay at Rainbow Paradise in Penang! The room was clean, spacious, and had a beautiful sea view. The location is perfect—right by the beach, close to local food, and it was easy for me to get to the Kailas Skyrace Penang 2025. It’s also more affordable compared to other hotels nearby, which made it great value. The host was friendly and responsive, making check-in and check-out super easy. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
