Communal Hotel Sololaki

Georgi and Anna are the best! Their breakfast service was excellent, they have a very good attitude. The wifi was sometimes week in our room, but it was the most remote room. In other places in the hotel the internet was great.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The place looks beautiful and cozy, and the room had a very homey feeling. The breakfast was a lovely experience, featuring much variety and local dishes served with love by Anna. Other members of the staff were amazing and consistently helpful. Furthermore, the neighborhood felt very safe for a solo traveler. I highly recommend it

לשוחח, המלון קטן נותן הרגשה אישית. מקלחת גדולה ונקיה החדר נקי. א.בוקר מוגשת במטבח עם מבשלת מקומית והיתה מצויינת. המיקום של המלון נמצא כעשר דקות החידה מהעיר העתיקה. בהחלט נחזור לשם. אולי רק היה חסר קצר יותר אור בחדר אבל ממש לא קריטי

מלון בוטיק, בשכונת סולולאקי השקטה בטביליסי. יחס הכי אישי שיש מהצוות, תמיד עם חיוך מאיר עיניים. חדר חמוד מואר ושקט. מאוד מפנק ונעים אהבנו הכל. אבל יש דברים שפחות יתאימו לאנשים אחרים. מוגשת ארוחת בוקר מאוחרת מ-9:00 בהגשה אישית. חוויה נהדרת מבחינתנו, אבל למי שמזדרז בבוקר לצאת זה פחות מתאים

We loved the location & the feel of this boutique hotel. We had a large room with a kitchenette which we found very spacious & convenient for the start of our days. There are always small improvements that can be done & I shared with the manager, George who was extremely receptive.

I have never felt more welcome in a hotel. The administrator and other staff were the most hospitable people, during all periods of stay, from the transfer from the airport to providing me a small favour after my departure. The room was very clean and very pretty, photographs but you can see that from the photographs. Breakfast was quite a unique setup - very social, encouraging communication with other guests. And the turkish eggs were worth the visit alone, tastiest breakfast eggs i've eaten (and i am not even a fan of eggs). There's a beautiful terrace if you want to hang out in the hotel during the day, but its mostly used for smoking. The administrator also giften us a bottle of the most tastiest Saperavi wine that I have ever had (for our special occasion). The hotel is 15 minutes walk downhill from Tbilisi historical and cultural centre. I wish there was more lighting in the room. It's not an issue if you come in summer (lots of daylight), but i was in spring and packing up in the evening, it was lacking. Also an extra shelf in the bathroom would be nice (there's lots of space for it).

Clean I booked the room online. When i arrived at the hotel, I didn't have instructions to enter on my email received. I called the hotel and was told that they had no place left, while I had that particular hotel booked. They sent me to other Communal hotel, with smaller room and other location.

We booked through booking when we were outside the hotel and expected to get the code or that someone would open for us straight away. Unfortunately it took some time until someone answered but other than that they were very kind.

The hotel is in a quiet and non touristy part of the city that is an easy 10 minute walk to Old Tblisi. There are plenty of restaurants around as well. Our room was stylishly decorated and the hotel was also cute. It is in a converted old home. We loved the breakfast served in the mornings with lots of local bread, cheeses, fruit, homemade yogurt, vegetable, dried fruits, and more. It was always a great way to start the day. The staff here are incredible--so kind and helpful. We arrived late at night and their directions for getting in were perfect. George went above and beyond and even helped us out for an extra night when our plans went awry and we found ourselves without a hotel room for a night. He came to our rescue! Thank you to the Hotel Communal and the wonderful staff. We will be back!

Lovely location, staff and breakfast!

Loved everything about the hotel! The decor was super cute, the rooms had absolutely everything you needed and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Nothing!

I loved how clean and well thought everything was. The most memorable part was the breakfast and how special and unique it felt! Thank you for wonderful staff that made my days special! Only thing that I didn’t like was that terrace door was closed in order for me to smoke I had to go to the street. Again, it’s minor but still.

The staff were amazing and the hospitality was the best.

I just love the place unconditionally. Just like I love the city and the country. So, if you’re looking for recommendations: choose it. Stay. No matter where you are from. Just do it. Fight me/sue me if you will. Go to Mtatsminda. Like literally walk up the mountain. There are ways to do that. The place is pure magic. The neighborhood is magic. At this point - nothing. They didn’t have to, but went above and beyond to attend to my shenanigans. Which I don’t encourage to repeat. Cause I’m a professional. But no minuses. The place is perfect AFAIC.

Really lovely stay - staff are nice and go out of their way to help, the way the old house has been refreshed and decorated is stylish and charming, and the communal breakfast was a really nice surprise. Definitely have breakfast! It is an event. The neighborhood as well was a treat - full of little coffee shops and boutique stores, and still close enough to the centre to walk

I feel it like home

It’s homely, quiet and serene. I love the neighborhood - can walk to Mtatsminda’s peak or to the very ends of Rustaveli, or to Narikala (to which there are multiple “secret paths” nearby) - or drive anywhere, including Airport in 20-30 minutes distance if I have to leave suddenly. The people (I don’t want, nor wish, nor like to call them “staff” or “personnel”) are wonderful. Always helpful, never intrusive. Always humane. It’s a wonderful place, truly. And one which I will continue to heartily recommend. Pricey. :) Not that I’d don’t like it - or am not willing to foot the bill. It just objectively is. Probably because of the “Internet fame”.
