I booked this hotel based on its great photos and high rating, but the reality was completely different. Right at the entrance, I was greeted by a half-naked man lying behind the reception desk who was having a very tense and aggressive conversation, making for an extremely uncomfortable first impression. The room itself looked nothing like the pictures—it had no windows and was visibly dirty. While I appreciate that the staff allowed me to check in early, I would have much rather waited in the lobby for a clean room than be settled into an uncleaned one. This place is completely misleading, and the current rating does not reflect the actual experience at all. I ended up checking out just about an hour after checking in.

Staff is nice and friendly until it gets to the situations when something needs to be solved. The place is ok if you are looking only for a short time stay for sleeping. Good value for money. On the day before our departure the electricity went out in the entire building. Staff didn't care about it. We had to leave at 6:30 next morning and we needed to pack our bags, but with only light from mobile phones it was challenging. Also phone batteries were running low. We went to the reception to ask for at least some candles. They gave us a half- burned candle and said that they couldn't help in this situation. Then all the staff just left. We had to go to the store searching for the candles. In the morning we were promised a take- away breakfast, but nothing was prepared and the reception said that he can cook something. Since the taxi was already at the door, we had no time for the breakfast. Apart from that TV did not work. Both, entrance and bathroom door handles were broken. Bed linens had some hair and dirt on it and looked neglected. The entire building needs renovation.

Great location. The lady serving breakfast is very nice and attentive. The bedsheets and floor were not clean. The building is old.

I couldn't stay in this hotel, I arrived there, then the cashier gave me the keys, then he called me and grabbed keys and told me that someone else had booked them before hand.

The hotel location is perfect, close to everything. The room was clean, and the sheets smelt fresh. The shower screen did not cover all the length of the shower, and it was impossible not to splash the bathroom floor while we were taking a shower. The breakfast was a little bit poor (pasta for breakfast?) but for the price we paid, we could not ask for much more.

Location 100%, everything nearby, city center in 50 meters, but nights in hotel are quiet. The wiew through the window to the old city was absolutely wonderfull. There were no water for whole day and night,, so also no wc, and they offered 2 small bottles of water for family with 2 kids. And I booked a better room, but they gave economy for first night. No discount, no appologies

Cheap stay. Reaching the hotel by car was quite difficult, as the street was steep and narrow, with tight parking spaces. The staff was not very attentive—they did what was required, but nothing more. The balcony was small and cramped, and while the view wasn’t terrible, it wasn’t particularly impressive either. Overall, a mediocre experience with some challenges to consider, especially for those traveling by car.

The hotel is located in the old quarter, very close to the center and most of the points of interest of Tbilisi. The host, a very nice and very friendly gentleman. Rich, tasty, varied breakfast and absolutely surprising because the lady who cooked for us on the spot brought us dishes one after another as if we were in an "all you can eat" place! The room had air conditioning, mini-fridge and direct entrance / exit from / to the terrace on the ground floor. At this hotel, all the money is on the host and breakfast! Modest triple room, with little free space available and very basic. So does the bathroom. For a short stay of 1-2 nights, some shortcomings can be overlooked, even those related to cleanliness in some places. Attention, if you need a parking space, announce it and insist on guaranteeing one because, given the position of the hotel, this can become a problem!

How i wish i can give more credit to small businesses and hope for their success but based on our experience, it is below par. The only plus point was the bed. The bed is comfortable. We don't expect everything to be perfect but at least the basics needed to get right when hosting guest to stay in the hotel. There is a very foul sewage smell in the toilet and it really put our mood off. The shower head holder is loose and constantly needs adjusting making it very hassle. The water pressure is low and ended up showering too long. When we check in, our room was hastily prepared so basic things like spoon, coffee, tea, face tissue is no where to be found. One of the tea cup was cracked and we got to found out that after pouring the drink on to the cup and leaking everywhere and we ended up cleaning the mess because of it. One of the light bulb was flickering when switched on. Overall, this hotel looks neglected. It needs basic maintenance and some TLC. I guess if there is no other choice and if the price is acceptable for you, this hotel should be okay.
