We didn't receive the room key because the hotel ran out of them. We had to ask the manager to open our door each time we needed to come in. Only one day later we received the key but the staff didn't even apologize for that
-
Actually we had everything we needed, for this price room, facilities and breakfast was quite good. So it's a good option for its price. We had some issues with internet, but the staff helped us to solve the it.

There was no internet on the first day

I did not care for this property at all. The staff at breakfast and the weekend front desk staff were nice. The older male and some other staff are super rude. Our room was not up to standards with a very rock hard bed, no hair dryer, no ironing board or iron, not enough towels, had to ask for more hangers since we only had 2, the comforter was the size made for a twin bed, and the tv only had Georgian and Russian Channels. Some TV providers offer CC with options to have it subtitled into different languages. The location is not convenient whatsoever. The only reason we stayed there is because we attended my son’s wedding there.

Excellent breakfast with city views, big rooms with a lot of natural light, beautiful views, exquisite interior design with attention to detail.

Friendly staff. Beautiful city view. Parking lot available. Cozy room with all needed amenities.

Spectacular city view! The staff are very nice and helpful. The hotel is located on a hill, but the walk is definitely worth it for the amazing view. Free parking available in front of the hotel. Clean rooms.
-
You have to walk to long over the hill to reach to the town something not easy

Our room was on -1 floor with the view of roofs. No chair on the balcony. In cafe during a day was no dough to make Chachapuri. Just a small things to improve.

1. It takes a good amount of walking to reach the city center and return, as it’s located on a hill. Coming back on foot can be quite exhausting after a long day. On the plus side, there’s a bus station near the hotel. 2. English communication was unfortunately quite limited.

First of all I liked the atmosphere of the hotel. It was very aesthetic and nice place. The breakfasts are not good in Tbilisi at all but the our breakfasts in your hotel were great. The veranda of the restaurant was awesome with nice view, unfortunately it was raining all the days, so we were able to enjoy it only once. I didn’t like the lack of light in the rooms. They were very dark. Couldn’t see normally at nights. There wasn’t a hair dryer, but for 4 star hotel it’s a necessity. And would like to mention that staff in reception couldn’t communicate in english. As for me it’s not normal to work in the sphere of tourism in the reception and not know english. They didn’t understand the simplest requests such as “when is the breakfast?” and “ please provide us with a toilet paper”. When we asked to give as some toilet papers, the receptionist gave us a block of papers of A4 format.?

The location of the hotel and the view of the city is just unbeatable! The room we booked was very spacious and suited our needs for our one-week stay. Most of the staff were generally helpful, and two ladies in particular were very friendly (one of them was named Lika, I believe), but other staff members did not seem very approachable. We were put on the "first" floor, which actually was the third (?) floor of the building, but we had requested to be put on one of the higher floors. I am not sure if there were no rooms of our room type on higher floors, but I found this quite upsetting, especially the one night when there was extremely loud music blasting from the restaurant area right below us from a wedding party being held on the hotel grounds. The room itself was well-appointed with everything we needed for a one-week stay, although we did have to procure our own tea as only two tea bags were provided and we had asked for the room not to be cleaned during our entire stay. From a cleanliness perspective, nothing was left to be desired - the place was spotless. The hotel is perched on a hill, so that means about 10 minutes of going up and down a steep slope to get to it from Rustaveli metro station. There are, however, buses, but we did not take one to the hotel, so I cannot speak to the frequency of the bus. The hotel is near the funicular, which should not be missed! All in all, we were quite satisfied with our stay and would recommend this hotel and / or stay there again! The hotel hosts events such as wedding parties. We were "fortunate" enough to be there for one such occasion, which meant music blasting (I am not exaggerating) until 11 pm. Fortunately, there is a hard stop at 11 pm, probably in consideration of hotel guests. We were not too affected as we had come back at around 10 pm after a long day of sightseeing, but it was rather annoying. Take this into consideration in case you plan on working remotely or you are an early sleeper. I do not think being on a higher floor would have helped, to be honest. I feel sorry for the neighbors, but it may just be part of the culture.

The terrace and the view is just amazing! The rooms are clean There were a few things sadly. The restaurant was „updating its menu“ which I don’t know is true and so they didn’t have these specialities which they promote in their website/ booking. You cannot stay in the terrace after 11/12 which I also find sad but that’s acceptable. One of the receptionists was really unfriendly. But the thing that was very weird for us was that we had to ask for toilet paper at the reception. The cleaning staff did not bring new ones. It was the same for a friends group of our that was also staying in ginger hotel. I think it’s really uncomfortable to always go to the reception and ask for a new roll.

They weren't ready for compensation of one of the rooms we wished to cancel

Overall, my experience was positive, especially given the price. The rooms were spacious and stylish, and I particularly enjoyed having a balcony and breakfast with a view/terrace. Everything was also very clean, which I appreciated. Location: While the property was conveniently close to the city center, the area was quite hilly, making walking around a bit uncomfortable. Of course, this is just my personal preference, others might not mind about that. Room Amenities: The room lacked some essentials, like a hairdryer. I brought my own, so it wasn’t an issue for me personally and I did not ask them to provide it, but I believe this is something that should be provided as a standard. Same for toothbrush, toothpaste, etc.

A lovely stay, the view was stunning and the atmosphere very cozy. The staff were exceptionally kind and allowed us to store our luggage and ski equipment after checkout. Highly recommended!
