Lovely staff and good vibes. THE AC WORKS!!! Makes a huge difference with the sweltering summer temperatures. Staff was willing to check us in late due to a late plane arrival! If you have accessibility issues that make using stairs hard, you may experience some difficulty here. Nonetheless, everything is very good.

Extremely welcoming staff, always asking "how are you?" good place, clean and comfy beds. Accomodation is not too far from the city centre.

Very clean, very friendly staff, easy access from city The escalator was not working and this is in third floor. Every time we had to carry all our luggage to third floor up and down, which was tiring. The washroom is not attached but it was available and clean periodically and accessible in 50 meters.

Great value for cost. It was clean, in the kitchen was all needed equipment. I was really satisfied with the service. Nice receptionist was so great she borrowed me her shampoo. Disadvantage is that service doesnt speak english. Other disadvantage is that it is really adjacant to subway. On the other hand Bolt taxi is really cheap in the city = 2€ for 3 kilometer ride.

Please don't hesitate and choose this hostel when looking for accommodation in Tbilisi! Our stay at Hostel Portal was amazing. Zviad and staff were the BEST hosts and they kept everything so clean. We arrived too early (at like 6am instead of 2pm which was the actual time to check in) to check in but that was no problem for Zviad. We arrived with a group of 20 and were accommodated very well. It wasn't loud at night, the kitchen and living room were prefect and the Wi-Fi was good. Even better was the air conditioning! It was so warm out, so being able to come back and turn the AC on was so good. The transportation options are good, too! The bus stop to the center is right around the corner. The facilities to wash clothes were very handy as well. But really, the best thing about this hostel is the host. He really is amazing and such a funny guy. He'd sit down and play a puzzle with you and ask about how your day was. He'd also recommend things to do in the city and help whenever you needed anything, even if it's late at night. Clean, quiet and very nice place! We liked staying there!! we met very nice people and our staying was very comfortable! (in shared and private rooms). We can recommend it!!

Very pleasant personnel, cozy room with shared bathroom and kitchen where you can make some food or tea (from accommodation stock). Towels for free.
