The key cards could not open side doors, pool not open and $100 incidental charge

The room was nice, the staff were friendly, but the grounds and building could use some love, the pool wasn't even operable, and the parking lot was rough. There were a bunch of mattresses and furniture thrown out in the back of the parking lot

Clean. A little outdated. Staff were not super friendly. But answered questions. A lot of foot traffic; we were awakened several times each night with people knocking / banging on the hotel door. Had our granddaughter with us. So that was concerning

Expedia did a very poor job portraying what this hotel had to offer. They make it look nice and neat in the pictures shown in Expedia's website, but the reality is different. The parking lot for the hotel is very run down, which gives the sensation of a very insecure place. Additionally, the lobby of the hotel and hallways are very gloomy and the room I was shown did not look at all as it is advertised. The hotel management to me was not the issue. Instead Expedia's lack of clarity and lack of fairness in ofering the deal is what made the entire experience so bad. I was not able to stay with my wife and 2 young kids the night we were on the road driving back from Branson, MO to Houston, and had not only to pay for the stay at this hotel, but also pay at a hotel down the street with a much higher rate for having to pay up-front without a reservation. Overall, I am very dissapointed at Expedia's service and although I've been their client for years now, this will probably be my last purchase with them. The Customer Service experience I have received has been terrible too as no one wants to take responsibility for what happened. I cannot blame it completly on the hotel, as it is their word against mine. But there certainly has to be a middle ground and / or some level of trust between Expedia and its client, in this case me. Thanks

Nice hotel ..only problem was the pool wasn't open and after being told 3 separate times it would be open the days we would be there ..we were very disappointed ..we traveled 6 hours and we were looking foward to swimming .. wish we were notified .. Pool closed !!

Initially as I was checking in I could see the clientele was a little off. That that made me a little concerned about parking and leaving my vehicle unattended. The room itself was probably not everything it could have been. I do believe they've been trying to renovate so I'll give them that. The front staff were pleasant. Breakfast left much to be desired. From my window basically you could see a completely empty parking lot nobody parked back there. The only time I saw a vehicle, on three separate occasions from my window, with a car parked with a female leaving the car each time the car Was ready to leave. I won't speculate on their goings-on. I saw a line of beds tables chairs broke down stuff. Apparently what they had emptied from some of the rooms I imagine, as they are renovating. None of it moved the whole time I was there and clearly had been there a while, and it was an eye sore to say the least. I have to say, I would not stay there again.

The curtains in the room were torn so I couldn’t hide the sunlight. The sink was stopped up and stopper in the bathtub was broken. The breakfast really wasn’t breakfast.

I assume this property was recently purchased by the owners and they’re probably renovating it. There was old furniture behind the building. Breakfast was very, very limited. Room had a musty smell. Tub had dark hair on walls. The evening desk clerk was very nice and helpful.
