Restaurant nearby. My stay at OYO Texarkana was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The moment you open the room door, you’re hit with an odor that smells like you’re standing inside a public restroom. The furniture looks like it came from a thrift store clearance section, and the towels that were supposed to be white have turned a concerning shade of yellow. The ceiling paint is peeling throughout the room, giving the impression that maintenance has been ignored for years. The bathroom looks like a rushed fix-and-flip project, and the mold around the shower is enough to make you think twice about using it. Honestly, skipping a shower for a day may be the healthier choice. The air conditioner deserves special mention. The filter appears to have collected years of dust and debris. If you suffer from allergies, this hotel will quickly let you know how healthy your lungs really are. You might want to bring a scuba tank just to breathe comfortably. As night falls, the atmosphere only gets worse. Between the condition of the property and the overall feeling of neglect, you start wondering whether you’ll be sharing the room with a few ghosts. My recommendation is simple: save your money. Go to the nearest Walmart, buy a tent, and camp outside. It will probably be cleaner, smell better, and provide a more comfortable night’s sleep than this hotel. One star only because zero stars is not an option.

Nothing. Got a refund. This place needs to be shut down. Room images are very deceiving. We reserved 2 rooms. We left due to feeling unsafe. Roach infested rooms. Broken or missing light fixtures, missing or burned lamp shades Lights flickering and spark. No smoke detectors. Curtains were so dry rotten they crumble when touched, couldn't close. Bedding was stained, one bed had a moldy growth on the side, others had cigarette burns. One room look like someone took a knife to the walls. Bathrooms were unbelievable gross, roaches everywhere. As we're loading the car, a man was going room to room trying to force his way into rooms. He told us he needed a phone charger or a place to charge one ask for money. We felt very unsafe as there was a second person lingering behind a car nearby. We left quickly.
