Lifestyle Hotel Sedartis Lake Zurich

The hotel was very nice and clean and comfortable. The lady who greeted us was very friendly and professional, and when our delayed luggage arrived from the airport, she was proactive in getting it to us. The place is just a short walk from the lake, which we enjoyed. Our room was on the bottom floor so we didn't have a lake view, but we still had a private terrace, which was nice. It was also nice to have a mini fridge in the room, and the bathroom was nicely modern. Nothing coming to mind at the moment! (Aside from the lack of AC, but that's typical for Europe, so I can't hold that against the hotel).

Quick simple and close to the station. I though the breakfast was included in the price.

The view from the balcony is unbeatable. Beautiful scenery overlooking the lake with the mountains in the distance. Local church buildings were nice to look at as well. The room was clean and spacious. We appreciated the small, but well-appointed breakfast, with coffee service delivered to your table in the restaurant. The staff was especially friendly and very helpful with everything. For those with hair- the blow-dryer provided was a 10/10. :) No AC and no fan in the room. I understand that AC is not available, but it was uncomfortably warm, and the room needed air circulation. We did have the balcony door open, but there was not a breeze. Also, due to needing to keep the door open, it created a very noisy environment for sleeping. You can hear cars, and racing motorcycles. Also, you can hear the noise from the guests below in the restaurant patio. I did use ear plugs were not enough to drown out the noise.

- Good location, even if outside the city - enjoyed being able to walk to the lake ferry pickup point nearby - I appreciate a quiet room and this hotel was peaceful. Only some noise from the passing trains and pedestrians walking on this nearby paths To have a pool would have been a bonus

If we could rate the hotel higher than 10 we would. The staff, the restaurant, the room, and location are super. You have just a very short walk to the train and ferry and the surroundings are peaceful. We experienced no street noise and distant beautiful church bells. There are snow capped mountains in the distance. You can also enjoy a chocolate tasting at the nearby Lindt Museum. We were able to enjoy fresh white asparagus for dinner and rich breakfasts when we visited. Thawil and Sedartis are very special, indeed Nothing

The hotel is modern and well equipped, staff are very friendly and efficient. The location is excellent with teh train station on one-side, and the beautiful lake on the other. Breakfast was good. For this stay, nothing!

Nice location close to lake Zurich and easy access to train to central Zurich. Breakfast very good too! Bed was too soft for my taste. Did not sleep well although very quiet and nice room.

Shower facilities: The shower was completely blocked, causing the water to flood the bathroom. We informed the staff about the issue, but it was never resolved. As a result, we had to deal with a flooded shower throughout our entire stay. Unfortunately, the hotel did not offer any compensation for this inconvenience

Visiting Zurich, stay at the Sedartis! The hotel is across the train station. Within 10 min. you’re in the center of town. It’s quiet. It’s clean. Rooms are great. Employees exceptional! Our to-go-place when visiting Zurich! The design of the rooms! The view over the lake. The cleanliness.

The room was small but fine. The hotel was pretty outdated. Like most Swiss hotels the price per quality is terrible. I mean it's Thalwil, not Zurich. The train is easily accessible, but the price should reflect the location as much as a Swiss hotel is willing. The restaurant left you thinking... huh is that it? Not too special. Then you get the bill and you find that they think it's much more special than you do.

Pro staff, great view, will definitely go there again!
