Location -- Outstanding, both extremely attractive and extremely central. Room (in general) -- Outstanding, designed by someone with a really great 'eye'. The more time spent there, the more I admired how it was arranged. Hotel (other than room) -- Outstanding decor and experience For some, the hotel would be a 'ten'. For us there were some reservations, narrow ones, about the hotel (1) The bathtub is so high and slippery that I could not recommend the hotel to my father (in his 80s). And I would need to mention this anywhere else I made a recommendation (2) The breakfast area is gorgeous. The food quality is perfectly fine, but the food range is more narrow than expected. So we had one excellent breakfast, but would have eaten many breakfasts outside if we had stayed a few days. (3) The gym is well-equipped but a bit tight on space

We love the splendor of the lobby, dining room, the public spaces. The service was top notch, from Marie at the reception, the bellman to Dennis and Dick's professional humor at breakfast. The pool was on the small side so had to book individual time at the pool

We arrived on the afternoon of 24th July 2026 from the moment we arrived the staff were so friendly, helpful and professional from the moment we arrived. The guy helped us park our motorbike when we arrived and move it the following morning. The reception staff were wonderful. The restaurant and bar staff were also wonderful, everyone was polite, helpful, warm, friendly and welcoming. Answering any questions regarding the menu, drinks the food and the hotels history. Kennedy heped us find somewhere to change into our motorbike clothes after we had spent the morning on a walking tour. He carried our luggage to the motorbike. He was so helpful and friendly. The hotel is absolutely exquisite. The facilities are brilliant. We enjoyed our stay so much. Would recommend this hotel 100% !!!! The car park to the front is not the biggest although there was a wedding when we arrived.

Great location Quite dark inside. There was lots of limescale on the shower which meant the head didn’t work properly. Likewise the room TV did not work and required attention.

Very friendly staff, we only did one night as a travel through. Hotel is beautiful. The bed was not the most comfortable.

The stay made us feel as if we were in a fairy tale. The accommodations representative of a grand era of stately beauty and impeccable friendly service. An absolute delight! We have no complaints whatsoever, except to realize our stay in The Hague was too short.
