Île de Pipa - Ma Plage Hotel

Beautiful grounds, great location, very friendly staff, clean and comfortable. It’s next door to a hostel that plays loud electronic music day and all night. The property is aware of the problem but can’t seem to be able to resolve it.

Great hotel The security guard nocking on our door at 21:15 asking us to be quieter as the neighbors has complained. Was due to the fact our tv was next to their bed , we turned up the volume, 5 star hotel with sound proof rooms ? Or just cardboard!

The kitchen did not have the appliances they advertised. The oven and cook top were not operative and according to the concierge, this was known by the owner as the condominium prohibited gas a long time ago.

We are delighted with the location and the exceptional customer service provided by the front desk. The style of the apartment was also nice and clean. We suggest adding an extra mirror in the rooms, since this is a family apartment and it would be convenient for the women to do their makeup and get dressed in their own rooms. Also, pool towels should be readily available in the rooms so guests don’t need to call the concierge to request them. Finally, we recommend that documents such as passports and IDs be uploaded directly through the website instead of being sent via WhatsApp, as international guests may not feel comfortable sharing personal documents through an app that isn’t widely used in their home countries.

Construction on the room next to us woke us up very early. They should have planned for this and proactively moved us. International card wasnt accepted. It took a long time to check in

Location and pool

It was a very nice stay. We enjoyed a lot Pipa; it has many beaches nearby. We were coming for 7 days and we extended to 10. The hotel was very nice to accomodate us longer. The location is perfect, in the city center. We enjoyed the facilities, swimming Pool, gym, restaurante. Breakfast variety was great. Definitely i would recommend pipa for holidsys and this hotel All was ok

Hotel's own staff incredibly helpful: Veronica and Lucas from the reception, all waiters, Flávio from maintenance, Francisco from valet partking. Rooms are new, functional, comfortable, pretty, as expected. Installations are also as depicted. Location is perfect if you want to enjoy Pipa's city centre. Parking spot included in the reservation (I recommend renting a car to get to know the furthest beaches). I saw constantly how the gardens and general maintenance was done and cleanliness was a plus point as well. Food and drinks quality is below average but normal for Pipa's standards. ou had to chose the beer based on "which one was cold". If you are a foodie or come from a city of excellent food service, you will be disappointed in the whole area, unfortunately also at Maplage and other great, 5 star hotels in the area (I tried most of them). Minibar people are from a third party provider and should get better training, they knock violently and if they dont hear your answer - which happens often as the room is well isolated - they will just open the door. Once I was at the toilet, another time I was naked, but had time to cover myself. Pool is highly busy but I only entered once, it definetely needs more cleaning considering the amount of people inside every day.

Comfort and cleanliness

The staff is EXTREMELY helpful and educated especially those at the restaurant. The rooms are spacious and the bed is very comfortable. Over the weekend there was a party at the restaurant which ended at midnight and disturbed us a bit. The pillow was very high and hard despite the ved being very comfortable. The blackout still comes Light through the morning and the noise in the corridor woke us up early. The shower was amazing the 1st day but it seemed that as the hotel Got fuller it lost potency and got cold Quicker.

The room is nice and comfortable. The bed, pillows, and sheets are high quality. The location is very good, located steps from the center but still quiet on the grounds. The breakfast was very good. All the staff seemed nice. The service of ordering food at the pool is very slow. It seemed smells from another unit got into our bathroom. Some days the staff played music at the pool while they cleaned very early in the morning.
