Comfort Inn & Suites Tigard near Washington Square

Sydney, who works the front desk was awesome. I had trouble with several things in the room (the lock, the TV) and she was so kind. She came up to my room and showed me how get the door to lock. Then she came back up and fixed the TV. She was kind! Thanj you Sydney!

Screaming & yelling, puke buckets in the hallway everything was dirty. Handprints on the wall stains on the lamps. Not good.

The bathroom needs to be cleaned better. The bathtub was peeling, the edges of the bathroom floor and around the toilet were dirty. The door gets stuck and doesn’t close properly that we had to shut it ourselves. The walls were really thin, I guess that sounds and arguments from other guests were heard at any time of the night. The sliding door to the patio was very hard to open and close that my shoulder started hurting. The milk pitcher was also defective. It took a long time to get milk out of that carafe to fill the cereal bowl. The tables were also unstable. There’s also the “jolt” felt when we rode the elevator.The staff was nice and friendly enough. The place was safe and had enough parking spaces no matter how late we came back. Overall, our stay was comfortable enough. The place just needs an upgrade.

The staff was rude and would not let my daughter check in without me. Not a happy customer.

Horrible stay staff was ok room was ok but safety around the hotel was awful up all night from noise people yelling in the lobby. Had to book another hotel due to safety. Would never recommend due to safety reasons alone.

While waiting in the lobby, I politely asked if I could use the restroom. My request was denied without an explanation. As a confirmed guest, I found this disappointing and felt that the interaction lacked the level of courtesy and hospitality I expected. I hope the property will consider improving its customer service and communication with guests in similar situations.

Location, clean, comfy bed Thin walls, room was just off the main lobby on the ground floor. Couldn’t open windows as they were right next to the patio. Couldn’t open hear everything from the hallway and lobby.

No staff to attend to a long line of check ins, room lacked the amenities for a shower. TV was not working. Overall not a good experience. Won’t be staying there again.

Breakfast was good. The hotel was noisy with noise guests and noisy staff.

Decent budget accommodation. Friendly staff, standard breakfast and comfortable enough room. Would stay again.

Location Front desk personnel were very unprofessional and not suited for their jobs in the "hospitality" industry; in room #107 the toilet seat was half-way attached, and the toilet made a bizarre "cry" sound at the end of the flush; bathroom sink faucet wasn't attached and water pressure was very low. The hotel entrance has a combo garbage/cigarette receptacle that was filled to the brim and disgusting and 2 steps from the front door! People standing there smoking, ugh. The front door is a strange looking door that opens automatically; it's black and in poor condition. The lobby is VERY STRANGE, a long bench against the wall. There's a table by the front door with sports pictures on it, like you'd see at a fund raising auction. It was out of place there.In fact, the people and everything else seemed out of place in a hotel setting. In the dining area, there's another bench along the wall and many tables and chairs plus an outdoor patio with chairs. Very uninviting. The bagel case was full on Wednesday and it was almost empty by yesterday so that meant they left the bagels in the case and didn't put fresh ones in. The front desk personell situation was bizarre. Sometimes there was a woman in colorful Muslim attire behind the desk with an overweight, unprofessionally dressed Caucasian woman sitting on a chair next to her, looking at her cell phone. Or reversed with the Caucasian woman behind the desk and a Muslim woman sitting on a chair nearby. One time the Muslim woman was in full burka attire. There was a steady stream of African-American people coming in and out of the hotel, and in and out of a room right off the lobby. This seemed to be happening non stop. Very bizarre. Lsst night around 9 there was a loud commotion , yelling, etc so i cracked the door open to peer out, nervous about what i might see, and saw African-American people, kids too, filing into the room next to the lobby.

The cleanliness Requested a king room and ended up with a queen room. It was also a handicap accessible room. Which wouldn’t have been bad, but unfortunately, the faucet leaked in the bathroom and the shower caused the whole bathroom to flood.

We left the room without staying one night due to the stench of mold or musty materials. My wife tried to dampen the smell by spraying some perfume into the air conditioner fan, but that did not begin to reduce the horrible odor permeating the room and furniture. The room smelled so bad we were unable to stay for even one night and left without checking out. The lack of staff was laughable! The few people that were there were over worked and rushing to complete multiple jobs. On two occasions I witnessed a night time attendant standing outside smoking marijuana openly in front of the reception driveway. The room we were assigned was supposed to be quiet but was above the entry driveway and was anything but quiet for the few minutes we’re were there. The overpowering smell of a musty room and furniture could not be tolerated. You can’t cover up poor maintenance with paint.

Other main issue was that air conditioner would not run continuously, but would cool for a while, and then stop. Would require a manual reset to initiate cooling again. Other than these issues, the location was very convenient for us, breakfast was OK. Staff was very friendly, made a mistake checking us in for two nights instead of three. We caught it, but resulted in our keycard not working on third day.

This place is not for families. There were several domestic disputes on our floor at all hours of the night. People screaming at each other in their rooms as well as outside our window. We woke up to the strong smell of marijuana in our room at 5am as well. The rooms are cramped and the beds are hard. The bathtub looked disgusting, and the breakfast was bad. The manager told me upon check in that the tv was broken, “but you get what you pay for.” Run.

The staff were very friendly and responsive. The phone in our room did not work at all. We had to use our cell phones to contact the front desk. The cable box for the tv was old and neglected. We had to keep repositioning it around the room to get any reception. The noise level of the hotel was the worst we have ever experienced.
