Hotel Keihan Tokyo Yotsuya

Not much space for meeting up with our group

Staff are friendly and helpful. I accidentally left my access card in the room and locked myself out and they were quick to help without a fuss. I was a solo traveler with a lot of bags on the last day and one of the female staff kindly helped me to ensure all my bags safely reached my taxi. Probably one of the best smoke free rooms on my trip. Laundry has 2 washers and 2 dryers. A quite area with convenience stores, train station and luggage shipping close by. Italian restaurant on site if you need it.

We liked everything

We liked that it was away from the business of Shinjuku. It's a basic no-frills business hotel. The shower was really nice. Decent breakfast.

Location was close to the train station. Cleaning is really good. Staff are always helpfull and kind. Room was small than I expected but I understand that it is normal for japanese hotels

Location, staff good facilities...breakfast poor I have stayed in multiple hotels in San DIego, Shanghai, Bangkok, Athens, Frankfurt, Karlsruhe, Thessalonica...by far this was the worst breakfast of all....in fact I just booked two days for the end of the month without breakfast because rice balls would be cheaper and better..poor protein, only scrambled eggs ...

Location was perfect! Nothing! It was exactly what was expected!

Good location to metro and 7-11

The room was a bit small.

The room was bigger than the usual Tokyo hotels which was great. The location was very good as well. It was quiet but not that far from main locations (like Shinjuku and Shibuya). The staff was very accommodating with my request to store the breast milk in the freezer. Nothing. Our stay was really wonderful.

Room was a little bigger than another Tokyo hotel we had stayed at earlier in the trip. We were thankful for that but it was still a bit small because one side and foot of the bed were essentially against walls so one of us had to climb over the bed to the other side. We placed the luggage rack at the end of the bed so it wouldn't be in the way anywhere else. We made it work though. Dark hallways and hardly any lobby with only 2 chairs. So we decided to pay extra for late checkout since there was a double seat small sofa in our room... so we waited there for our airport transport driver to arrive.

The front desk staff are very helpful and polite. I like that the toilet and shower were separated. Many restaurants and a 7 Eleven, Lawson and Family Mart nearby. Yotsuya Train and Metro station only a 5 min walk. There is a vending machine and microwave on the 2nd floor and laundry facilities. Rooms are small, especially if you have large luggage. No shower curtain. You'll need to ask front desk if you want iron or steamer. Beds were very firm.

Clean room with decent facilities. Slow check-in process at 15:00 with a lot of people in line. Small room but normal for Tokyo.
