the view from the room. it wasn't really specified in the description

The fridge wasn't really that cold unfortunately. It took a long time to cool down drinks we put in, and we hoped there would be a small freezer compartment.

Quirky and interesting hotel with fabulous breakfast. Rooms very interesting and different to a standard hotel. Location is quiet and out of the main attractions which was part of its charm.

What a fun and exquisite hotel. Not only it is a great way to support local artists and the art community, but it's a beautiful hotel in a fun and accessible neighborhood. The bar/lounge; the room was fun and whimsical; the staff amazingly helpful and friendly. The local neighborhood is quiet and full of great restaurants and wine bars! That I missed the newest mural unveiling -- we had to leave before the big party!!

Funky, artsy atmosphere with outside events happening in the lobby. Very good breakfasts. Comfortable rooms.

It's quite an experience to stay in a room that is in itself an art exhibition. The breakfast options are limited, but very tasty and fulfilling. The shower is wonderful. The art room we stayed in for our two final nights in Japan ("Ice Cap") was rather impractical when packing our bags. Drip coffee bags should be provided in the room, or at the reception.

Definitely not a nicer hotel, and not trying to be. We stayed for one night and it was completely fine, but that's all I would have wanted to stay.

    The stay was awesome

The bathroom was also very modern and beautifully designed, something that is not so common in Japan. Overall, it felt more like staying inside an art exhibition than a regular hotel. I would definitely recommend it for people looking for a unique experience.

I liked the location and the area; the fun spirit of the hotel and rooms, and the size was also very appropriate for a central Tokyo hotel. The bathroom was a bit small to put my own amenities, but overall, the rooms have everything needed, and the service downstairs is very efficient and welcoming.

The staff was so kind, and the atmosphere was absolutely incredible. So comfortable and fun to stay here.

Shower was great Rooms look great on photos but smell terribly and are very cumbersome to be in. Staff was nor very willing to help and most did not speak english and would get frustrated if you ask something

It's a nice space with a very artsy theme. The location is prime. The staff is super friendly and you can get some nice suggestions from the staff about where to go in Tokyo. I think this is more like an art-themed hostel, from my point of view. The room is very small (at least the one we stayed). When we arrived, the building was undergoing some exterior repairs/renovations, so all the windows had to be closed. We wish we had found that before we book the place. Also, the hotel would have a new art graffiti wall every week.. Though we like the concept, the smell of the paint was really strong, and it made both my husband and me not that comfortable. Overall, I won't recommend it to couples or families. It will be a cool place if you travel by yourself or with one chill friend.

This is a superb hidden gem in the middle of Tokyo. Very funky small boutique hotel offering amazing value for money and an unforgettable memory. So much better than the big brands.

The artist involvement was awesome. It was a great hotel. Near the subway. I really enjoyed it. I only stayed one night! Wish I didnt have to leave the following day.

Room was fantastic! We loved the artistic style (made us want to see what the other rooms were like!). The room appeared simple at first but we grew to love the little thoughtful and artistic details. Breakfast was amazing as well! Great coffee! Not the most central accommodation.

Rey easy to access numerous train lines. In the evening there was not a lot around the property. Room was pretty small.

The art work is one of a kind and makes it such a unique stay. Great location near metros and they are able to hold your luggage while you wait for check in.
