Great stay with amazing staff and great amenities! Also, it's very close to public transport, markets/malls!

Friendly staff, good location, there’s a happy/social hour with free drinks (I didn’t partake but seems to be one of the more friendly hostels in Tokyo for sure), there’s a locker in the room that can fit a large backpack, there’s a co-working floor, and there’s an elevator. booking.com doesn’t specify the number of beds per room and photos make it look like it’s 6 - it’s actually 10 or 12. It’s quite packed into one room, with minimal space to walk through and felt super cramped. I’ve found when it’s more than 6-8, people really start pushing it in terms of being respectful about noise. While the hostel notes quiet hours are from 9pm to 10am, I was woken up consistently from 11pm to 7am between people coming in late and slamming lockers, dropping their luggage and ruffling through, slamming the door, talking on the phone, and multiple alarms first thing in the morning. I unfortunately was not able to sleep for more than 2-3 hours in a row without being woken up. I recognize that the noise is not on the hostel - sometimes you just get a bad batch of guests. The bathrooms are quite dirty and could require more consistent cleaning throughout the day.

room so clean and there are so many convenient items that can be use such as Hair dryer and tissue. but the best thing is the social atmosphere here is pretty nice. I have met many interesting good friends. I will definitely stay here again the next time I come to Tokyo There's nothing bad

Beds made sounds, springs were poking my ribs, 3 nights of 4 stayed there, and i couldn't get the sleep. The room was super smelly because everybody was allowed to bring the shoes in, which is uncommon in Japan. The lounge area was always crowded, but I'm not sure if there were the guests or random people, if you need a space to quietly work, that wont be possible there. Overall this hostel needs a big upgrade and much better management. Location also was in the middle of salary man area in the city. Do not recommend this place and it was the worst stay during my trip in Japan.

    Familiarity.

I hit my knees on the bed frame several times. If you're on the top bunk, the bed shakes a bit much when you climb up on it

Staff is helpful. With a small spot on rooftop floor to hang clothes(no roof) If you are a light sleeper, avoid this hostel, reasons as below: Lockers inside the room so you can hear the noise of people arranging their luggage. Bunk beds are wooden and not fixed tightly, hence even a slight movement would make loud noise. Lights inside the room is out after 9pm, I guess they hope people would make people quiet, but the thing is people would arrange their stuff inside the bed where there is light and due to the wooden bed cracks in every movement, it's is really annoying during midnight or early morning. The curtains of the bed also make loud sound.

    The bunkbeds are quite creaky

-clean rooms, bathrooms and showers -kitchen to cook/prepare food -quiet and convenient location -Zachary the manager was great; very friendly and helpful! -elevator available -games, music and gaming available; it would be nice to add a book exchange to this collection - I usually leave my books at hostels and, if possible, exchange it with another one that’s been left behind. -beds were on the harder side

    Loved it!

  • Engine customer Mar 2026

The rooms and hallways were very small, not enough space to place luggage comfortably. AC needs to be adjustable 30 °C ist too hot.

Between the cubicles there was a space in the one below that lets through the light and noise of the cubicles next door.

They had just about everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I had some difficulties finding out where facilities were but this is because I did not read.

The lounge downstairs was more social than expected! They had Mario kart and there were usually at least always a few people talking downstairs

    Nothing as really

Not to social, at the evening the common area was mostly empty

What I found really unique about this hostel is that it has a prayer room, which I truly appreciated. You don’t always find this kind of facility elsewhere. I also appreciated the ironing facility for my hijab ?. Even though the showers are on a different floor, it was totally fine as there’s a lift and plenty of privacy. I also loved that the hostel is close to a few stations with different lines which made getting around very easy.
