The size of the room and having a kitchenette with all accessories and appliances proper for preparing the occasional meals in the room.

I like the location of the hotel, very convenient. The front desk is not 24/7. Just a little bit concerned about early flight check out. Also wish they have a gym.

Great sized room. Nicely appointed. Staff was fantastic.

Public bath on the 14th floor looking over Ueno Park. Quality breakfast. Room design with tatami and a low table set. Kitchen. Spaciousness of the room. New facility. The women public bath had lots of hair on the floor late at night; had to sweep by myself. I feel the hotel needs to check the cleanliness of the public bathroom every 30 min or so.

Great location and amenities

If you stay on this part of tokyo, realize it is not quite as tourist friendly as places like Shibuya and Shinjuku. We didn't mind that though.

It was a very enjoyable stay. The location was excellent. Staff was very friendly. We had packages delivered to the hotel and they kindly received them for us and they were already waiting for us in our room when we checked in. We also enjoyed the rooftop bath after long days of walking exploring Tokyo.

Breakfast was included with our booking, skip that. Food was in a box, not fresh.

Beautiful facilities and great location. Room was very comfortable.

Night is not suitable for family to walk around

The place, the wide view overlooking the park, amble space, kitchenette, cleanliness, helpful staff and proximity to metro / railway stations While booking, the breakfast options weren't clearly mentioned. They only provided a Japanese-style breakfast in a bento box, with no alternative choices. I ended up paying extra for waffles and coffee from the café instead. Maybe I'm overthinking it, but the backstreet entrance felt a bit shady to me.

Clean and easy, walkable to a couple stations. Friendly staff who were very helpful and communicative. Rooms are small, but that’s Tokyo. Nice but no frills at all, great if you need a comfy bed in a nice building.

It was centrally located near everything you want. Both jr line and Shinkansen were short walks away. On a very quiet peaceful street in the city.

Great location. Loved the proximity to Ueno park and also enjoyed the public bath I was unable to travel to the other floors to visit my family. Exit stairs also led to a dead end - locked doors at ground level

This is a decent hotel in an excellent location. The price is a little high, but the facilities are quite good. The room was very clean and we were overall very satisfied with our stay. My wife has asthma, and the staff were helpful in ensuring that the room had no strong scents. It was sometimes difficult to communicate with the staff - in either English or Japanese. The breakfast is not worth the money. We prepaid and were quite disappointed. A side comment is that the hotel makes claims about environmental awareness, yet uses very large amounts of single use products - and in particular the breakfast consists of vast quantities of styrofoam and plastic.

Very clean, room was excellent size and very comfortable for 4 adults. Shower was excellent. Very comfortable mattress. Front desk staff very helpful. The cafe offers more than what is posted on the website. Location is very good, easy access to subway/train stations, shops, food. More peaceful since it is next to the park, which is also a very good place to relax or enjoy some attractions. On site laundry is useful, although dryer does need more than one cycle to dry. No complaints; suggest adding a change machine for laundry.

- very spacious room - plenty of floor space to dock suitcases and arrange things for two people, it even has a spacious window seat or window nook which is enough for an additional person to sleep in - bathroom has both bathtub and shower area, onsen is available too - very central and convenient location - Just 1-2 minutes walk to Ameyoko Shopping street and many restaurants and bars - Across Ueno Park - friendly and accommodating staff, such good positive vibes

Clean with great location

Super convenient to several stations, tons of stores and restaurants, and across from beautiful Ueno Park where we did strolls, rode swan boats and visited museums. Every staff member was very kind and went above and beyond to help. Love the public onsen, too. Kitchen was fully equipped, my kids loved the bunk bed, and towels and trash were promptly changed daily.
