IKIDANE Residential Hotel Komagome

The place is clean, all facilities are great, value for the money. Place is near the Komagome station. Nearby restaurants and convenience store. Contactless check in, I was worried at first but I just had to call customer service and everything went smoothly the rep was very nice and helpful. There is no microwave, maybe a small one would be great.

Good location, <10 minutes from the train station Clean Very small, but I guess Tokyo is dense My daughter was sick the first day and puked on the bed during the night. When I asked for the service to come and change the sheets they replied it would only be possible in 2 days !... I ended up buying some bleach and clean the sheets and mattress pad myself at a laundromat, as we could not live with the puke smell in such a small room for 2 days. They finally came the next day, changed all the sheets and sent a bill that was twice the amount we had agreed for this extra service. However, they ended up agreeing to align the bill to what was originally discussed. Still surprised that I had to 1- wait 24+ hours and 2- pay for it. Traditionally hotels used to change sheets everyday. I like it that they don't anymore, to save water. But changing the sheets if the customer requests it for some reason should be natural. General feeling is a lack of service professionalism.

Conveniently located near Yamanote line. Attentive and helpful staff who answered the phone and online messages quickly. Easy to check in and check out. Clean and cozy.

>>> CAUTION : READ BEFORE BOOKING <<< We booked this stay because it was affordably ¥2500 yen per night, including additional fees. After we finished booking(now unrefundable), the extra fees revealed itself as a ¥5250 cleaning fee so we ended up paying over triple the initial price... Not only that, the room was NOT CLEAN AT ALL. The table had some kind of oil stain, there was no body soap, there was hair in the shower vent, there was MOLD GROWING IN THE MINI FRIDGE. Where did our ¥5250 cleaning fee go to? I've stayed at over 10 different places in Tokyo and without a doubt, this is the worst place I've been to in Tokyo. There are tons of better, cheaper, more enjoyable stays in Tokyo. Do yourself a favor, think again before staying here.

My friend and i had a lovely time staying in this apartment! Definitely recommend. It's not far from the Komagome station. So, the location is definitely convenient to travel from Tokyo~ The English support is available for non Japanese speaking visitors~!!<3 The room is clean and cozy. PS the check in and check out process could take long time to finish (need to follow th regulations vy Jp government during covid situation). But worth it! (For the safety)
