The location was fabulous - very close to lots of interesting places. The staff were helpful and spoke excellent english. The rooms were clean and well appointed, and the breakfast each morning was lovely. Great water pressure and amenities. We loved the outdoor spa (we weren't sure we'd use it but it was lovely after a long day of walking). We were there for almost two weeks and the only issue we had were the beds and pillows that were too hard for my husbands's and my bad backs. We each ended up buying a pillow to use. Otherwise all was excellent.

Room was beautiful, staff was extremely accommodating and kind, breakfast was absolutely exceptional and delicious My only complaint is that every part of the room only has narrow overhead lighting- nearly impossible to apply makeup, and you pretty much always look like you’re being interrogated/telling a spooky story. A few table lamps or sconces are all they would need to solve that issue, but it was the only unpleasant part of our stay. If you’re an Instagram girly it’s probably not the place for you, which is a shame because it’s a gorgeous and very aesthetically pleasing room.

This was at the beginning of our trip and the perfect place to start. I knew we would be jet-lagged and wanted just a little bit of pampering. Spectacular room overlooking the river and Tokyo Skytree with a private outdoor bath. So centrally located in Asakusa! Friendly staff with nice amenities. Food was excellent.

Cute ryokan to try a more traditional route for hotels we only stayed two days. Staff was friendly and let us check in early. Room was nice but obviously on the smaller end. Bed a little on the firmer side but nothing crazy. Staff was nice and breakfast was free which was also nice. Location was good too. Firmer bed than use to and not much room For luggage but that’s expected with the layout.

Small, intimate, clean, good breakfast, good decor, friendly and helpful staff. Single bed room very tight to move around in.

The Prostyle Ryokan is perfectly situated within walking distance of the main railway and subway stations, making travel a breeze. Iconic landmarks like Senso-ji Temple and the Tokyo Skytree are right at your doorstep. For Tokyo standards, the room and bathroom were impressively spacious. I loved how the hotel harmoniously blended traditional aesthetics with modern comfort. The breakfast was a highlight—my wife couldn’t resist having the curry twice! I also highly recommend dining there for dinner at least once; it is a truly special experience. Overall, I cannot recommend this ryokan enough. Thank you for making our stay in Tokyo so memorable! The dining space feels slightly constrained and could be enlarged.

Loved the location close to train station . Could go anywhere in Tokyo and come back to quiet neighborhood. Rooms were small as expected but very clean and efficiently laid out. Breakfast included was fabulous. Staff were so friendly and gracious! Nothing

Great breakfast with several traditional options, portions are big enough so you can have a late lunch if needed. They also offer a Western breakfast option, but we didn't choose it during our stay. The staff is very kind and helpful.
-
very nice room and friendly staff a bit more expensive than we'd hoped

Breakfast was excellent! The location is fairly quiet if that's what you are looking for - walking distance to the temple and the water and great views of Skytree. Fairly close to the metro as well. I had to do some remote work, never had a problem with WiFi. (p.s. I stayed at 5 places during my visit to Japan and this one had my favorite sleepwear!).

Friendly staff, the facility was very comfortable, love all the little trinkets on display, food was exceptional l, great location! There was nothing I didn't like at Prostyle Ryokan. I was referred by my best friend. We will be back again! It was not criwdedlikea large hotel!

There were several breakfast sets from which to choose. The fish was fresh and clean, the soups warm and tasty and the fruit was excellent. The desk area was small, even for one person and the seating was very low so took some getting used to but all in all, a very traditional ryokan. It may be more of a challenge for guests that are older or larger than the average Asian.

Very clean and friendly. Breakfast was amazing. And it was cool that they planned one of the mornings I got a special tatami private room

The cleanliness and outdoor jacuzzi. Everything was perfect ?

Everything was amazing, the breakfast is super delicious and the staff is super friendly. Nothing..

I enjoyed the location, nestled beside Sumida Park and comfortably away (but not too far) from the crowds of Sensoji, Nakamise, and Kaminarimon. Short walk to Kappabashi Street. There was a welcoming homely vibe, especially since the area was more residential. Staff were very helpful and organising luggage delivery services to the airport / next location was easy. Loads of small gestures such as treats to celebrate the new year and hand warmers for the cold days/nights. It was a clean and comfortable room with daily room service. Many thanks to the housekeeping staff who worked around our clutter! Room sizes are small but as per Tokyo standard. We had breakfast included with my room and we worked through all the options through our stay. Safe to say all the options were delicious. Regardless, there are many food options nearby, as well as great specialty coffee places. However, for those seeking day trips out of Tokyo, the location may be less ideal as additional transport time between Asakusa to major train stations will add on the transit time.

Bath tub was amazing after a long day of walking everywhere and being on our feet. Nothing beats it. The breakfast was fantastic each time as well.
