Richmond Hotel Premier Tokyo Schole

Great value for a fantastic location. Close to the train station and Solamanchi and Skytree. Close enough to the river and just one train station away from Asakusa. Clean and spacious rooms. The LIFE grocery helps a lot for food and anything needed when too tired to walk elsewhere. Room was spacious. Toilet’s clean and bidet had enough water pressure not like other hotels. Able to control room temperature helps a lot too. None

Nice room at a good location. You should use elevator to get to the reception.

Close to everything including the train. Have direct train from Narita Airport and we just need to criss the street to the hotel. Walking distance to bus station to Disneyland and Disney Sea. Skytree and Solomachi Mall is across the street. The laundry room is clean and you can use your suica card from your iphone. Setting up a pin for the washing machine is require so no one can open it. Staff may remove your clothes if it has been left for a long time and guests need to use it during busy time. You can also see the status of all the washing machine from the TV in your room. Pajamas and slippers are also provided. Unlimited supply of facial wash, moisturizer, toothbrush for kids and adult, hair comb, etc. Cute complementary water bottle. Tight space for a 2-bed room but spacious for 3-bed room. No staff who can fully speak/understand English so they use translation device.

Location was great. Just at the bottom of the Tokyo Skytree. The hotel and the room were very clean. The staff was very helpful. To sit in the lobby, you have to pay extra; yes, you can also enjoy complimentary coffee and cookies with this extra payment. But there is no way to sit and relax in the lobby. Comparing the Kyoto Richmond Premier at Shijo, which offers a free lobby area to use, with complimentary tea & coffee in the afternoon and a happy hour with complimentary alcoholic beverages in the evening, this was unpleasantly surprising.

Convenient

Easy access to transportation. The hotel has a laundry facility but the machines only take an IC card although the TV screen in the room says it will take a credit card. Coins are also not an option. So, no using up yen change. This may be very convenient for the hotel but is incredibly inconvenient for foreign guests.

Checkout time.

Close to the subway station. Next to skytree mall. Super convenient next to a grocery store. Felt safe at night. Coin operated laundry service that displays how much time is left on your television in your room. Air conditioning was super quiet and left it on all night. Far enough away from the crowds but convenient to get to by subway. Had trouble finding the reception the first night because it's not on the first floor. We arrived after 10pm so that had something to do with it too.

Thê hotel provides large rooms and is situated in an excellent location:. Sky tree shopping mall, Life super market and Oshiage station are right in front of the hotel. Thê staff is top notch, very helpful and attentive! There is no clothing iron in the room. All so, the chairs’ upholding fabric in the room looked old and dirty with large darkened stains. If these could be replaced with new fabric or new chairs, thê whole room would look clean and perfect!

Unwelcoming Treatment at Check-Out: After staying at the hotel for four days, we wanted to sit in the lobby for a while. However, they made us leave at 12:00 PM, claiming that we were no longer hotel guests. It felt very unwelcoming.

Close to subway and skytree, self service laundry Book 5days, only do full cleaning in 3rd days, which I am OK. But it would be better if they can vacuum everyday

Very nice hotel in a most convenient location. Right across the street from rail station, and the hotel has all possible amenities.

Nice large room and comfy beds.

The rooms were very clean and there were many nice amenities included that are not usually found in other hotels I've stayed in, such as bath salts or back scrub. Location was very convenient (close to train stations, next to a grocery store, multiple convenience stores within a couple of blocks, across from a bus and taxi stop, and 1 station from Asakusa), and we had a partial view of Skytree as an added bonus. There were multiple staff members that spoke or understood English, and the ones that had limited English had the assistance of a translator. Checking in and out was very smooth (keep in mind there is a tax you need to pay when you check in that's not usually included in the Booking.com fees/payment), and they also had a little snack area where you could get some small snacks or a drink. They also had vending machines on certain floors, in addition to a microwave by the machines (there is not one inside the room). Compared to many hotels in Japan, the room was very spacious. They also have a limited daily clean which was great for me (trash taken out and towels changed), as well as a floor that has some coin laundry machines. It was a great stay overall. Trying to forward my luggage was a bit of a challenge for me. They have to confirm with the hotel it's being forwarded to that there is someone there to accept the luggage (which is fair). Unfortunately, the hotel I needed it to go to was able to confirm over a message to me that they can receive it, but Richmond wasn't able to confirm themselves as the hotel I needed it to go to doesn't have someone at the desk at all times (they do other things on other floors and leave a button to push when someone needs attention), or a phone number that was easily found. As a result, I wasn't able to get my luggage forwarded. In the future, I'd probably try to get them to confirm sooner, so it's just something to keep in mind. As a personal preference, I also found the beds to be a bit firm (I prefer softer beds), but that seems to be relatively normal in Japan.

Convenient! Right by Oshiage station that has a direct access to Narita , sky tree and Life supermarket on the first floor.
