Tamayura Hotel Asakusa

The room had a bad smell coming from the washroom. And everythign was dirty.

Everything was good about the property. Cleanliness, staffing , facilities , location ,proximity to subway lines. The tatami style room was a little bit small or just maybe small for our expectations . Anyway it was still good.

Great location near the stations with a great staff that helped us out forwarding our luggage. Rooms were comfortable as well and also had a nice lounge in the top floor.

Standard small room as is for the price in Japan. Clean and quiet. Convenient location for train access, nice river walk behind. Basic bread breakfast, can be brought up to common room with a view. Friendly staff.

Location was amazing! Close to train station, convenience stores, and restaurants. Very walkable area day and night time.

They only have the bed; they have nowhere to hang clothes or a table to put basic everyday items.so everything has to be put on the floor, really bad because it’s not cheap. MY WORST EXPERIENCE IN TOKYO WAS THIS HOTEL.

Nothing Everything The walls are thin, the windows are thin. There was so much light at night and noise from the road. Everything is dirty. I understand that hotels are small in Tokyo but this was something else.

Location is convenient Communication is difficult -emailed several times the is like robotics and does not provide options. Stayed 6 nights and us into a very small room. I was looking at the room lay-out I can see that they stuck us into the room that was converted to 2 small rooms. Advertised photo is not the same in person. And they don't want us to move to a regular size room that they have. For 2 people and 6 nights stay the accommodation is not acceptable - very uncomfortable the bed is too small for 2 and only 2 hard pillows per room - not good

The staff were nice and helpful I was on the 5th floor… but I felt like I was in the basement. Very simple simple, too simple accommodations

Tatami mats, friendly staff, comfy beds, ramps and elevator made it accessible for luggage, excellent free coffee, proximity to Asakusa station and conbinis, and loved the rooftop access with an amazing view of Tokyo Skytree. Very small space in the room (not ideal for big luggage).

The location was good Room was extremely small. No place to even seat in the room, not even a chair, a place to put your clothes, no night stand. Bathroom was extremely small and uncomfortable with no place to put anything. The so called included breakfast was just toast and coffee, which you had to grab at the front door of the hotel and take it to the ninth floor to eat. The Hotel had no lobby or area to hang It wasn’t worth to stay there and I would not recommend it.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect for visiting Senso-ji. Breakfast is very simple, and the room is very small
