The beds, the environment is very noisy and uncomfortable.
-
No person basically, so if you like quick check-in and check-out, this point is very good. WIFI is very weak.

The staff super friendly, and the place was amazing N/a

The staff at this establishment is incredibly friendly and helpful. I want to express my gratitude to Birk for being exceptionally friendly and accommodating whenever I had any concerns. The location isn’t the best, even for the price, depending on the rate you’re offered. You’d only stay here if you’re specifically interested in exploring Taito and not much else in Tokyo. The hotel sells out quickly, so you’d need to book in advance. The nearest stations are at least a 15-minute walk away. If you’re not very used to walking or need assistance with it, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The staff are amazing. I felt warm and welcome the moment I walked to the door. Clara was the nicest receptionist I’ve met in Japan so far the rooms are clean. The atmosphere was perfect for someone like me nice and quiet and very liminal. Not that far away from the temple and there’s really good laundry places right around the corner. It’s just far enough away from the touristy parts. The self check-in was complicated at first but once you get it, you got it other than that I don’t think there’s anything I don’t like about the property

Close to Asakusa by scooter or walk, very quiet area and single room had everything in a compact space. Self check-in was slightly strange that they showed the codes for everyone who checks in on the day.

I think it would be good to have a map of nearby bus stops and train stations within 1 kilometer of your hotel. I used Google maps. I think it would be easier to see the stops on one map at your check in desk. The light at the entry stayed on too long. I had to use paper to stop it from detecting my movement.

I enjoyed the simple check-in process, and the availability of amenities. Also I enjoyed that the room and facilities were comfortably spacious. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable and good value for the money, If you need somewhere to sleep the night or multiple nights. This is a small detail but the bunk beds have rails that do not move which makes it difficult to sit on the bed unless you are completely within it. In the rooms, there aren't other places to sit so that might be a little inconvenient.

Room and bathroom could be cleaner. Wifi password is outdated. Mattress was stiff. Elevator doors close too fast.

Clean and easy check in The fridge was noisy in the room, the bathtub was small and unnecessary since the place was small, the AC just on top of your head is not a good idea while sleeping, at least these are my feedback.

I had a 50% discount for late booking so value was quite good Guardian is nice Hostel is well situated WiFi was a struggle I couldn’t connect to it and when I was I didn’t work No soap and shampoo in the shower is a first for me in an hostel in Japan and I’ve been to more than 10 Without the 50% discount from late booking I think the price is overpriced

I have NO complaints about this hotel. I will return.
