Akasaka-no Sato - Caters to Women - Hostel

It was close to Akasaka-Mitsuke Station as well as a bunch of restaurants and shops. It was also very cheap.

Convenient location and cheap price. There was black mold above my bed and the privacy curtain was broken so it didn’t fully block out the light.

It is a little bit noisy at night, may be some lack of sound proof.

It was fairly clean. Placed in a room that was exposed to street-only front door was barrier. I did not feel safe as a solo female. It was very noisy especially at night, including people using local bars and like I said front door was only barrier to noise also. Staff member I spoke with seemed inconvenienced by me and was not very welcoming. It was really difficult to find the place as no signs in English. Also the number provided online to contact them did not work when I tried a few times so I had no way of obtaining help. The room is like a studio basically with a partition for toilet and a separate shower. Very grim as no window to look out of, the one that was there was covered. All on all, the only reason I stayed here was because I was travelling for a month so needed to be careful how much I spent on accommodation. You really get what you pay for in cities. Obviously wouldn't have booked it if I was only travelling a couple of weeks so it's something to bear in mind.

The location is good, Check in and out where without any problems, and it also has space for luggage storage Also I liked that the AC worked good. It's just like the other comments say, it's a ladies only place, but it's only has male staff that just use their key to enter the room while one is changing or showering. Not to mention the shower is in the room and there is no door only curtain covering it. The staff never did anything inappropriate, but it might be uncomfortable for females who don't feel so safe around males. The bed made such loud noise at night from turning or just light movements. One was a little force to stay in one position the whole night, not to disturb the others while sleeping. The whole place has such weak walls that you have to go outside on the street to have a normal phone call, etc. I would recommend it bc it was clean and in a good area, but staying more than 3 days might not be a good option.

Incredibly well located, near Akasaka and Akasaka-Mitsuke, many metro lines are available Easy check-in and check-out (just drop off the keys for check out) Window and terrace in our room (economy triple) Spacious enough to put our luggage Changing towels every day! A bit dirty in some corners (hair and dust around the toilet, counter corners, fridge) Creaky bed and thin walls No elevator and narrow stairs make it hard to bring up baggage

I loved how cute and cozy the place was and how safe I felt since the moment I got there. As a woman traveling alone it was important for me to feel as secure as I feel at home and this placed achieved that. The place was clean and I was even given a pijame to sleep in in case I didn't have one. I would definetely go back! I understand that is a place that is mostly for you to just go to sleep but I would have liked if the check-out time was after 10 am. I had an appointment at 10 am for which I couldn't take my luggage and it would of helped if my check-out was at 11.

Great location in terms of being close to Tokyo station and Shinjuku, as well as well priced food options in the area. The bedsheets were clean and the towels washed once a day. There's a washer and dryer on site. While it's a women's only dorm, it was managed by male staff who seemed to just walk in without knocking. The bunk mattress I was given had its own complex topology (it had uncomfortable dips in parts of it because it was old and should really be replaced). I picked myself another bunk and informed the staff I was switching, and they agreed - so in the end that aspect wasn't a problem for me. While the bedsheets were clean, and the bathroom bits smelled llike they had bleach poured down them, it was clear that surfaces were not dusted and wiped down to the best standard. But seeing as I didn't pay much to stay there it's less of an issue.

Very good Location and quiet . Close to the transport, many good cafe & restaurants around. A bank bad very low, pyjamas that were given 2sizes smaller .

Stayed in the room upstairs with the two bunk beds, everything was good. No microwave

It was convenient because it was very close to the station. It was easy to find the location. There were very good amenities like multiple towels, a washcloth, and even pajamas that would be helpful for someone who wants to travel light. I was placed in a room with a very strange woman who seemed to be living at the hostel. Since I could speak Japanese, I could communicate with her, but she caused a disturbance with another customer causeing the proprietor to knock on our door and have an angry conversation with the woman in my room. She slammed the door andkept telling me to lock the door after I checked out and pretended like she left the room when she was just sitting there waiting fo me to leave. She also went to the bathroom with the door opened and acted like it was my issue. My review is mostly about how this woman really made the environment uncomfortable. I think such a long-term guest who seems to live in teh facility should be in her own room.

The staff was so helpful to me. This is a female hotel so the male staff member should not go inside the people’s room.

How cold the room was, also how we don’t have to check out every day at 10-2am like other hostel places. Noise. Some noise cancellation panels should fix that no problem.

No breakfast. No kitchen. Just a bed, towels, pyjamas A bigger place wt a place to eat and drink. Very hard to find place. A helpful local found the place for me which i am grateful. No door locks even though was given 3 keys, except the locker key which is so thin storage.(can store plastic bag and clothes hanger)
