&And Hostel Akihabara

The location is very close to everything: Subway, JRLines, restaurants, shopping area. The staff is very helpful. The room and the common bathroom is generally clean. There is not enough space in the hallway of the room though to fully open big luggages. The hallway is a bit narrow. Shoes are allowed inside the room which makes the room smell a bit stinky. There should be a separate room/place where shoes should be stored and should not be allowed inside the room.

The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The hotel is very foreigner-friendly, with English-speaking staff who made communication easy. The atmosphere was lively, and there were social events that made it a great place to meet other travelers. My private room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious for the price. Overall, it offered excellent value for money and was especially well-suited for solo travelers. The main drawback was that the private rooms do not have attached bathrooms, so guests need to use the shared facilities. While the shared areas were clean and well-maintained, having an in-room bathroom would make the stay even more comfortable.

Room was bigger than expected, nice design and comfy bed, shared bathroom was fine, shower pressure was great. Some good dining options nearby and v.close to station Booked 2 rooms 1 month apart and paid quite a lot more for the second room but no difference. Was frustrating not to get the same price. A bit noisy from street below, but too be expected.

Doors sometimes didnt close properly, had to mess with the door for it to lock.

Excellent location, cleanliness, staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great location and a very simple, yet comfortable room worth the price. All areas are clean and well maintained. Staff is exceptionally helpful, even gave us an option to store our luggage for an extended period of time for a very cheap price. It was rather cold in the room and available AC, despite having what was supposed to be a dedicated "heating" option, didn't go over 18 or so degrees. Kitchen area closing after 11PM is inconvenient if you plan to stay outside for longer.

The bathrooms were a little dirty and stinky, and the hallway was really warm even though the beds were ok.

location was nice and lounge was good since the desk in our room was unusable with the tv taking up all the space gross room, smelled like a frat house. insanely noisy with paper thin walls and sound just bouncing under the large gap under the door on concrete floors. comforter under the sheet was mostly black it was so dirty
