Hamacho Hotel Tokyo Nihonbashi

The staff was remarkable, their hotel breakfast was amazing, the overall design of the hotel is gorgeous and was very clean. Our trip was amazing as it was because we had this hotel to start and end our days with.

I absolutely loved the design of the corner room I stayed in - it was incredibly spacious and bright with tons of natural light. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the location is quite good and relatively close to train stations, assuming you don't mind a bit of a walk. The near by boulangerie was also a huge plus! The only real downside was the lack of a comfortable public seating area. There are a few sofas by the reception desk, but they aren't particularly comfortable or inviting if you just want to sit and lounge.

Towels could be fluffier and that's the only criticism. Everything else was excellent

I got allergy only during my time in the hotel room. Opening the window during the whole day helped but the room was not properly ventilated otherwise. The self-service laundry was quite convenient but always with queues (there are only 3 washing machines and 3 dryers, and they take 1h+ each so it’s inevitable). Sadly we had to leave 9 days early due to an emergency and since the reservation was non refundable we lost all our money.

Nice modern hotel with clean facilities and friendly staff. Room and bathroom were big (relatively to the average room in Japan). There is a restaurant and a cafe on site. Unfortunately, this part of Tokyo seems very residential and it is not near any touristic sights. The closest subway is a 10-minute walk away, which is not normally not a problem, except when it pours during rainy season. The restaurant and bar choices around the hotel are more limited than in any other neighborhoods.

The building as a whole was really cool. The spaces, rooms, museum, amenities, all very nice. Breakfast was really good also. Location. Although relatively close to Ginza, I spent more time in Shibuya/Harajuku, which was 40ish minutes away. Quite the hike after a long day of walking.

It was a little bit out of the way, getting to spots would take around 30/40 minutes

The rooms are quite small, though that is to be expected for Tokyo standards. Space for opening large suitcases is limited.

Facilities were newer. Minimalist style. Location great with a fantastic coffee shop across the street and good access to Z line. A bit removed from hectic tourist zone but still very agile with foreign guests - at least in English. Small room. No closet.

Clean Not much shopping

The staff were very nice and helped us arrange a luggage transfer to Kyoto. Although the room was small, we did not mind it, it came equipped with everything needed and it was super clean. We also really liked the location, in a more calm area, but metro stops were available closeby.

The hotel feels really calm, it’s really clean and as soon as you arrive you notice a delicious smell to essential oils, the decoration is minimalistic and beautiful. ? The room were impecable, everything was really clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. ? The location feels really calm comparing to other areas. ? The location is good, but you need to walk at least 10min to the nearest bus or metro stations that connect to most part of the city. 10m doesn’t sound like too much, but when you’re already tired from walking 20k steps it could feel like a lot ?

Restaurant was by ok. I would rate it a 6.

Location was excellent. The staff was so accommodating. The breakfast, both Japanese and Western, were great. There was nothing I did not like

Everything Nothing

We have stayed here previously and love the location and the rooms. The hotel is located in a trendy location close to the metro stations, local eateries, parks and the Sumida River. We will be back! Nil
