No luggage storage service before check-in and after check-out

1) The location was great. It was walkable from multiple metro stations, safe to return late at night and near to convenient stores. 2) The breakfast was decent with limited options but the food quality was good. 3) The wi-fi connectivity, number of sockets were good enough. 4) The room was clean, good air-conditioned but slightly smaller in size. 5) The staff was friendly and spoke good English. 1) We booked two beds but we were allotted two separate rooms on different floors which was inconvenient for us. 2) They did not store our luggage even for a few hours after checkout so we had to store it in the lockers of a metro station.

staff not present for late check in after arriving from osaka
-
Simple and close to the train station

The free breakfast option was good but the menu was limited

Everything working and nice shower, clean rooms, great location Very impersonal, staff is not friendly at all. Completely ignored our request to accommodate us (4 people) in a shared 4-people dorm, we were all in separate rooms.

Breakfast was not in the building but had to walk to different location for the same. Plus the options offered in breakfast were very few and also the sandwiches offered were stale. The pictures of the hostel presented on booking.com and google were pretty misleading. The dorms looked more spacious on internet than in reality. The sleeping cabinets were very small and very inconvenient

The facility is in a strategic position. Both common areas and the dormitory where I stayed were clean and the staff was always nice. The bed was a little bit unconfortable, but I was always very tired at the end of the day, so it wasn’t really a problem to me.

No vending machines inside the lounge area but there are a few nearby, dryer takes a long time

Straightforward check-in and check-out, private locker for valuables without the need to bring an extra lock yourself, clean amenities. Fantastic location (I loved the Asakusabashi neighborhood) with a lot of great Cafés and restaurants all around you. Lots of convenience stores and grocery stores available as well. Asakusabashi station is just a stone's throw away and serves as an easy entryway to all other areas in Tokyo. Alternatively you can also walk over to Akihabara in just under 10 minutes. Unfortunately they no longer allow the temporary storage of luggage for the day you check-out (after the official check-out time) since April 1st, 2025. But that's about the only slight inconvenience I can think of, everything else was fantastic.

I love the friendly staff! The guy and girl went out of their way to help me turn up the room heat, because my bed was right next to the window! They also offered me extra heavy-duty blankets without hesitation. I also love how close the hostel was located to Asakusabashi station! The hostel has fast wifi, and a large welcoming first floor lounge which sees amazing daylight. I did not like how my bed was so close to the window, with poor insulation. I was freezing cold throughout the night, regardless of the heater turned on. I also did not like the bed construction: its metal frame shakes every time I move my body – this caused constant creaking that disturbed my upstairs neighbor, and vice versa. Every little bed creak, joint movement, cough, turning-over was amplified! Albeit I am a light sensitive sleeper, this bunk bed construction is poor. Also, the beds had their own suites, behind locked doors, so I felt awkward going in and out during middle of the night – the door lock would make a loud click and wake up guests. There was one universal light switch, so it was awkward to turn it on for fear of waking up potentially sleeping guests. Finally, my suite was cramped – the space between the wall and beds were not wide enough for my comfort, and I am a petite small dude.

The common area is great for eating or working, it's also kept tidy and clean. The beds are on the firmer side. The shower and bathroom facilities are cleaned regularly, I have always found them in neat and clean condition when I went to use them. Staff was helpful. A coin laundry can be found on the top floor, cheap and convenient, though the drier needs to 2-3 30min cycles to fully dry a full load. The room was very warm and dry, there seem to be two air-cons, though there is a control for only one of them. There is only one shower on each floor, so you might need to wait to use it.

Staff could have been a bit nicer/polite.

Good location! We booked for 2 people (4nights) and weren’t put in the same room which was disappointing. The facilities were clean but only 1 shower per floor was a bit of a hassle. Bed mattresses were extremely uncomfortable.

It was expected of a hostel. No free toiletries but they were selling some which is also cheap, so it was alright. Staffs were friendly.
