Mikami Asakusabashi Hotel

The capsule is amazing, bed is confy enough, and I must say is very private, with all the necessary things, they give you a towell, teeth brush and more stuff for free. The environment feels like Japan, and the 6th floor is perfect, the shower rooms always clean and so efficient. 1. The staff is ok, but I think they could be more kind. 2. In this hostels is not easy to make friends, there are no social areas, all the tables are placed towards walls, no common tables or seats.

Small and not too many people. Felt more local around the bars on the street The luggage storage was small, had to walk over lots of luggage. But makes sense for the building size and rooms were not as small as front so that was good.

Location, ambience and property was very good. It was a comfortable stay for me. Very near to asakusabashi station. Upper level bunk beds are a bit difficult if you have to climb up again and again for some reasons other than that everything was good.

The location is great! Just one station away from Akihabara. You got FamilyMarts nearby, a matsuya restaurant, and a Torikizoku restaurant all in the area! I’m definitely booking it again if I get the chance. -

There were 20 to 30 beds in each floor but only two toilets per floor, so it can get crowded. Also the lockers are too small.

It was quiet and I got to meet people from all around the world and the fact that I had my own private locker.

Great layout! Shower/lounge floor had quite a few shower booths that secured my privacy, as well as multiple sinks with hairdryers. Clean toilets on every floor. The dorm rooms also have a good layout and have sturdy ladders to reach the upper bunk. The bunk is probably one of the most spacious bunks I've slept in. I was able to leave a lot of my gear on the extra flooring in front of my bed and had no problems when sleeping. Also provides some cheap but usable disposable slippers.

Mattress could be a bit thicker/comfy, wasn’t the best. Would stay again for sure for stays under a week.

I liked the facilities, there were multiple showers and mirrors for getting ready in the morning, I never had to wait in line to use anything. The beds were comfy, and I couldn’t hear much (except really loud snoring) from the other beds (using the included earplugs). Also couldn’t hear the train that much even though it was right next to the place. I wish there was a stove or somewhere to cook a bit more than just microwave.

Don't want to describe in details. I liked everything including the district that it's situated. Nothing
