WELCOME to Shinagawa-shuku Guest House & Tours ! The guest house is positioned in a warm, friendly and evermore local area, and offers convenient access to the sightseeing spots in Tokyo and even international airports Haneda and Narita. Since we're close to airports, even with late flight arrivals(e.g arriving Haneda Airport around 10pm) you can still reach here for check-in. Only 2 minutes walk from Kita-Shinagawa Station and 12 minutes walk from the central Shinagawa station. You can visit many traditional temples and shrines or take in the intimate atmosphere of the local shops and traditional Japanese restaurants. Our facility is located on the first station of the KyuTōkaidō Road which connected Tokyo and Kyoto over 120 years ago. Various local festivals are held in Kita-Shinagawa throughout the year, and are a lot of fun to attend. Our guest house offers a homely atmosphere in a cozy environment. License Number(s): 品保生証第129号

The staff were over the top. Wonderful, helpful, timely, kind, and welcomed me into the location like it was their home. I appreciated all the tips and tricks for the place and the area. Followed their recommendation to eat nextdoor and it was delicious. Impossible to change the size of the place, so if you want a roomy large western size room, you won't get it here. It is perfect to put your luggage down and sleep. The shower facilities are perfect for getting clean.

Noise travels easily between rooms

Convenient location, good price Room is really small, common area is small too

The staff were very friendly and the property was comfortable. It was close to Shinagawa station and several restaurants and cafes (I’d recommend Kaido cafe). It was only about 30 minutes from Haneda which allowed a smooth trip in the morning for us (bar rush hour crowds in the subways). Nothing bad to say, we found the bed rolls to be some of the most comfortable of all of our Japan stays!

The location is very conveniently located near many good restaurants and historical sites, and within walking distance of shinagawa station and the Tokyo monorail to haneda airport. The facilities are very basic, with shared bathrooms and showers, but in line with other guesthouses I have stayed at.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Good price. Nice location on a quiet street with good vibes. Super close to the train station. We stayed here for 1 night due to the proximity to the Narita Express and bullet train. The building is older, so expect older rooms/washrooms. We stayed in the triple room (private) which was spacious enough for 3 people for 1 night, but there was only 1 real bed (bunk) and two single mattresses on the floor, which were very thin and uncomfortable (you could feel the floor straight through it).

The staff was pleasant

Kita Shinagawa station is one the Keihan line, which with one transfer also runs directly to Haneda. The rooms are normal for this concept: showers and bathrooms are shared by gender. On my wish list is an elevator, but the person who checked me in took the luggage upstairs to my room

You get what you pay for. It’s fairly cheap so it’s not the nicest but it’s worth sleeping for a night It’s really small and rundown

Greeted with hospitality. The staff was awesome. Showers were clean.Room was clean and quiet. Easy walking where I was at. Meet awesome people there.

Very helpful and outgoing staff. The location is in a quiet area with many small restaurants. Tight space at entryway. No elevator.

Very nice location! Staff were super friendly and helpful! I only stopped for one night to rest after my flight but the staff were still super friendly and helpful! Full of recommendations and well-wishes for the rest of my trip. It was a really lovely atmosphere! It’s an old building and something in the room flared up my asthma pretty bad. The building is cute though and that is part of the charm, so it’s not really a negative, just an issue I had.

Very close to the station A bit small

Fabulous staff. Great camaraderie with all the guests. Fantastic mountain bikes to rent. Just a glorious area of the Japanese Alps with tremendous flora and great biking trails.

We enjoyed our stay here! The staff were incredibly sweet, welcoming, and attentive to any of our needs. The room at first seemed small but my friend and I felt very comfortable the whole time, and we each had a duvet. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing with many good local restaurants and a convenience store within 1 min walking distance. Our stay was a bit far from tourist places but transportation was very convenient. We were a 5 min walk from a local train station, and one stop away (15 min walk) from a major train and shinkansen station. The women’s bathroom was clean, spacious and had lots of amenities, and were able to use their washer and dryer for laundry with no problems. Overall we were happy with our stay! Room was a bit small but it was also comfortable and a good price. Also far from tourist places but the convenient transportation makes up for it.

Would recommend 10/10. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The guesthouse is conveniently located at a 10min walk from Shinagawa station. The surroundings are calm at night and it’s a lovely area to explore if you want to avoid main tourist spots. We had a double room which was super comfortable. There’s space under the bed for luggage. The bathrooms were also clean considering that they were shared with other people. It looks like a bit of an older building but they’re putting a lot of love into it.

Simple, cozy room. Has air conditioning. Many restaurants/cafe/convenience store on same street. Very friendly staff who gave a map and recommendations of restaurants nearby and very helpful with all our questions Bit of a walk from the station, shared bathroom, we were on a women’s only bathroom floor so my boyfriend had to go up or downstairs to use bathroom

The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The instructions given to locate the property in Kita Shinagawa were clear and accurate. The bed was not particularly comfortable.
