very clean and easy check in process. great location also having to trade the front desk your room key to get your shoes at the front every time you leave the hotel is a little inconvenient, but not too much of a hassle.

The room was quite a bit bigger than I thought it would be and very comfortable. Everybody in the sleeping area was very quiet. Was not expecting washers and dryers. The bathrooms were clean, spacious and more than adequate. The price is unbeatable. Although I was told before I actually checked in that my luggage could be taken up to the floor I was sleeping on, it wasn't explained that it could be secured to a bar with a lock. This had me scouting around for an alternative place to stash my luggage, and it created problems when I tried to store my bag in the hotel room of people in my travel group. That bar with the lock was all I needed for peace of mind. The staff seemed to speak very limited English. Because this is the hospitality industry, it would have been nice had they been able to speak fluent English as it is an international language and guests seemed to be from multiple countries.

Very clean and modern. Amazing location for Ueno Park Very systematic with wrist bands to unlock doors, trade in wristband for shoe locker key, pay using machines. Too rigid and formal. Staff barely spoke English but did have translator devices. If tattooed they say you cant use the shower facilities. Due to " "culture" in other words discrimination systematized. Oh and their breakfast blt sandwich, the only option for my stay, was horrid.

It can get quite warm in the capsule during the night, not sure how it is managed in the summer (I was there in April).

Shizuku is a capsule hotel with a public bath. It's perfect if you miss the last train and need a place to stay. They provide everything, slippers, pyjamas, toothbrushes and towels. The capsule has power outlets, a lamp and can be completely closed for privacy. The women's dormitory is accessed with a key card but the toilets are inside the dormitory, so there's no problem if you forget your card. There's luggage space and luggage can be secured with the locks provided. The bed was comfortable. If you're planning a multi day stay, you can access the dormitories during the cleaning time but there is a common area on the first floor.

Good location. Close to train station and easy to find. Able to bring outside food in. Bathroom is not too clean even after cleaning time. Locker inside the capsule provides convenience but creates noise when others try to use the locker at night.

Location was fantastic and the space was clean. It got extremely hot at night and even hotter in the capsule. I couldn’t sleep the whole night.

Really good location, very close to the station and subway stations, facilities were nice and clean.

I wish they had cold and hot water for drinking and tea/instant coffee available in the lounge around the clock. It would add a lot to guest comfort for little added cost.

Everything is in order, just like how I expected it to be. The place was clean, spacious. The space for you to arrange your luggage was very convenient. The location is one of the best, in walking distance to Ueno station, with many good exits eg. Shinobazu exit and Hirokoji exit (most convenient if you bring a luggage and want to use the shinkansen). This place is also close to the Ameyayokocho, where you can shop all day long, close to halal food (in Ameyoko and also some other halal outlets inc. Yakiniku). The capsule has inside locker where you can fit a small backpack, so you can keep your valuable items there. The only thing that I want to comment is, it was mentioned that there is a steam iron to lend. And it is also stated in their guide book too that was placed in the capsule. But when I went to the counter to borrow, the staff said there was no steam iron. This disappoint me a little because even though I bring my own iron, but I feel it inconvenient for me to use it in the capsule, therefore I was happy to read that this place offer the service when I book, but the truth is, they don't.

Clean, comfortable, and quiet sleep. Everything you need with respect to amenities. Comfortable places to chill or eat in the lobby. Well-appointed grooming area. Everything spotlessly clean.
