The rooms were kept very clean and new towels, water bottles and toothbrushes were provided daily. The breakfast was amazing every single morning! The rooms are very small, but for 2 people we made it work!

small room but acceptable, location a bit far for large suitcase’s about 10-14 min walk from the main train station ( bus makes it less walking).

Room is a bit small, and entrance to bathroom is high.

Such kind and helpful staff member!! The hotel is very clean, and provided great amenities, as well as a welcome bar that we did not know about, it was a great surprise.

The staff was super friendly! The room was really small but the bed was comfortable, everything was very clean and we had everything we needed. The location is really great! A lot of restaurants & bars close by and the subway/train station was also close. We would definitely stay here again. -

Included ‘happy hour’! Wow! Best EVER of any stay worldwide due to variety of choices. Courtesy, from time of check-in to several hours AFTER we had checked out (allowed us to sit in the restaurant area and use our Internet). People at the front desk were very accommodating. Pillow was best in 12 nites. Breakfast was delightfully full of choices. Very close to station/restaurants. Quiet stay. Had to be one of the 5 SMALLEST hotel room/ bathroom combos in 1000’s we’ve booked over 36 years of marriage! Overlooked this as there were enough “positives” to offset (& it is Japan). 1 elevator

Everything except bed comfort. Location, staff, breakfast, free soft drinks at 3p and mixed drinks after 6p. Upper bed on bunk waaaaaay to firm. Needed to use extra bed topping as mattress pad.

Breakfast was good, not too many things but enough to make it for one week. They also had a selection of free drinks in the evening. Check-out is simple: you just throw the paper with the code to your room into the box in the elevator, and that's it.

Only gripe I would have is that the pillow was slightly uncomfortable. But this still was not an issue. I liked that the Kyoto Superhotel options for pillows, depending on preference.

Location is great Size of the room.

The bed was a bit firm.

The location was right next to Ginza (shopping) and the imperial palace (to run in the beautiful park), staff were friendly and nice. Restaurants and shopping nearby but the area was a bit outside of the main are and not too clean (the streets) and the vibe didn’t feel great. For the cost, I would definitely book elsewhere next time. The hotel itself was dated and not super clean. The breakfast wasn’t great. More healthy options would be great. There was no fresh fruit which surprised me.

I think this is the perfect utilitarian hotel. There were many things for travelers to feel comfortable that other hotels on our trip did not have; a multi-charging cable for different types of phones; a selection of additional pillows to choose from in the lobby; a great (and free) utilitarian breakfast buffet; a great selection of different bathroom amenities (lotion, cleansers, toothbrush, etc.). The bed was comfortable, the AC worked great, and it was and extra unplanned cool thing to have a view of Tokyo Tower from our room on the 10th floor. We were here 1 night in between traveling from Osaka to checking into our other Tokyo hotel and I booked it because it was a good value close to a great neighborhood (Ginza). I was very pleased with this stay.

Loved that they had breakfast included, also loved that they had a lot of drink options to choose from for buffet style breakfast. Room was compact but worked and bed was really comfortable. Great value for what it was The rooms are a bit small but to be expected in Tokyo

Rooms were narrow. Other than that no complaints

The staff was nice. Probably the worst hotel experience I've had so far. When we first checked in, the room was shockingly dirty—hair on the bed, dirt in the bathroom, a strong unpleasant smell (possible canalization issues) and the AC and parts of the bathroom were covered in mold. We immediately informed the reception, and to their credit, they were polite and offered to move us to another room. However, we had to wait about 40 minutes for the change. At first glance, the second room seemed better, so we left without inspecting it too closely. Unfortunately, once we returned, we realized it wasn’t much better. While the smell was gone and the bed was cleaner, there was still hair around the room, the floors were visibly dirty and hadn’t been vacuumed in a long time, with spots and grime everywhere. The most concerning issue was the extreme humidity. Every morning, the curtains were soaked with condensation, our suitcase was covered in water droplets, and we had to use a hairdryer daily just to get our clothes dry. Even clothes and towels that were dry the night before would be wet by morning. On top of that, the room was freezing cold. The windows were poorly sealed—you could feel the draft coming through. We tried blocking the cold air with a pillow, only to find it turned black from the filth on the window. Clearly, it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. To make matters worse, the room was incredibly small. There wasn’t enough space to open a standard-sized suitcase without blocking walkways. We expected it to be small as this is common for Japan, but not this tiny. The only positive aspect was the staff—they were friendly and tried to help—but unfortunately, the issues were beyond their control and ultimately unresolved. I strongly recommend avoiding this place.
