clean room, location, facilities ok front desk staff!

Location

Location was perfect. Subway station on the next block over, convenience stores all over, lively area but never too crazy/loud.

The location is perfect, just one street away from the train station, many restaurant options in the area. The staff was super nice and helpful. The room and bldg in general was clean and felt safe walking in and out of the hotel early in the morning and late at night. Nothing, everything was great.

Great location! Just a few blocks away from the closest subway station and lots of food options around

I enjoyed my stay at b Akasaka. The hotel staff spoke good English to help with the check-in process. The room was small, which is to be expected for Japan. Everything was very clean and tidy, and I appreciate the bidet in the bathroom. The lobby has a machine to get coffee and hot water. I love how close the hotel was to the Akasaka-Mitsuke. It was easy to get anywhere in Tokyo I wanted to see. The area around the hotel is also great to explore. Nothing to note.

Good location in between two metro stations and close enough to walk to the Imperial Palace. Small rooms with not much space to have a suitcase open, and low bathroom ceiling and mirror so I was bending over to be able to see myself.

Good central location with quick access to the subways to get around. We also enjoyed the Akasaka-Mitsuke area The room was small with limited seating and space to open/access our luggage

Very well located (it has a subway station with multiple connections 3 min walking). Everything was clean and the stuff is great. The room was not that comfortable (the second one we booked). It was really small

The room is small but it's doable

The room gets very hot and you cannot adjust the temperature of the heating/air conditioning unit. Had to leave the window open with minimal lights on in order to cool, this was mid January. The front desk was able to provide a desktop fan, but apparently all rooms are like this according to one of the front desk male staff and this was confirmed by other guests.

Fantastic location - everything is just a short walk away from the hotel.

The location was good because the streets outside had many restaurants and cafes. The subway was nearby and there are convenience stores and a BIC Camera nearby. I liked the free coffee and donuts in the lobby. The room was very small and obviously meant for male guests. There was no closet, only hooks to hang clothes on, no shower cap. They don't make up the room every day although they do clean the bathroom each day. The receptionist refused to help me book a restaurant saying they are not allowed to. I don't understand why. Overall not much interaction with the staff who could have told us there is a smoking room in the cafe next door instead of telling my husband to go down the street to smoke.

Very short walk to train station entrance through shortcut, near combini, pharmacy, smaller version of donki, good restaurants. Good sized room (we stayed in twin), short train ride to everywhere.

The price we paid for such a small room was not worth it in my opinion. The bathroom had dark mold growing in the corners, door frame, crevices and in the bathtub drain and smelled strongly of mildew. It made me not want to use the shower or the bathroom at all. There was a dehumidifier in the living space but the only outlet was also broken in the wall so could not offset the humidity and mildew. Overall I woke up wanting to get out of the room as soon as possible and didn't feel relaxed coming back in the evening. This was a last minute booking so felt like we had no choice but would not stay again due to the condition of the bathroom.

Our first night we had no AC in our room. The staff was able to change us the following day. Very tight for 2 people better if your a solo traveler
