Room was a little small but, worked for me for a week long stay. Extremely convenient to the train station for Yamanote and Keihin lines. Staff were extremely friendly and they had a nice restaurant on site. Great price for a single person room.

The observation deck didn't have any seating, you couldn't smoke even e-cigarettes up there, and you needed to be let up by the front desk instead of being able to get up there with your room key.

This hotel is perfect for those who don't mind a smaller room but really want to see a lot of Tokyo. The hotel is only about 5-10 minutes away from Tabata station on foot, and from there you can access the Yamanote line and get pretty much anywhere. The staff were super helpful and kind, letting us know how to book shinkansen tickets and access luggage forwarding. They also provide you with a ton of amenities and free drink coins if there isn't water in your room. The room itself is quite small but it's to be expected. There's enough storage space under the bed for 2 or 3 large suitcases. The room was clean and comfortable for sleeping. The hotel itself was lovely it just took some getting used to! The bed was kind of flat but it's something that is common there so we got used to it. The staff did offer an extra pillow as well which made it more comfortable. Please note (not a mark against the hotel) that you will have to walk up a hill or a set of stairs to access the hotel so keep it in mind for heavy or large luggage. One thing we might like to see is luggage forwarding directly from the hotel. I believe you can do this from the airport to this hotel but if you are changing hotels midway through your trip you will have to do it externally. However this did not dampen our experience, simply something that could be considered!

The property is next to Tabata station which I like. I wish I had one bath towel for every night stayed so I don’t have to go to front desk every time.

The hotel is literally right next to Tabata Station on the Yamanote line (that ring line that takes you to all the most important places in Tokyo). Plus, the free onsen is a nice experience and opportunity to make an unexpected friend. :) The single rooms (bathrooms too) are a bit cramped, so it's best to travel with either small suitcases or just one. I did not have much space to move around in.

The location very good
-
The best city view so far we’ve seen through 4 trips to Japan
-
The room is too small for two people, if you get a single room it's a better option
-
I was never able to eat the breakfast Not charge a fee every day for breakfast
-
Very close to the station, extremely convenient.

My favorite hotel in Tokyo !

The location was good. It's in between Tabata and Nishi-nippori on the Yamanote and Keihin-Tohoku lines, but Tabata is the closest. From Tabata you need to go up a slope from the South Exit, from where you'll immediately see the hotel in the distance. My room was clean and it felt homely, even though it was quite small. Amenities are available on the lobby (4th floor). A gym and onsen are available, though I did not get to use them because I was out for more than 12 hours each day. There's a vending machine available in the lobby, and when checking in the staff gave me one coin with which to buy a free drink from the machine. Three free-use washing machines are available on the 1st floor, as well as two paid ones. Staff were friendly and accomodating, and they can converse in English quite well too. Breakfast was good and filling. The rooftop is a great and quiet vantage point to see the Tokyo skyline, and on clear days, you can see Mt Fuji. (at least I think I saw Mt Fuji) I think my main problem with the hotel is that my room was pretty small. It was somewhat difficult for me to organize my things, and I had to move things around a lot if I wanted to unpack my luggage. Showering was also awkward as I had little space to move in the cubicle. This is largely a problem with Japan's limited land space though, so I can't entirely blame the hotel. The free washing machines were always occupied whenever I went to use them, so I had to use the paid one to do my laundry. It was alright, the washer costs 400 yen, and the dryer costs 100 yen for one cycle, but the dryer didn't really do a good job of drying my laundry. Another possible problem is the noise from the nearby train tracks. It might bother some travellers, but personally I wasn't bothered by it at all, as I find it difficult to sleep in complete silence.

The hotel was very convenient. Literally 2 minutes from Tabata Station on the Yamanote Line. Also free laundry for those who stay, and the room didn’t feel cramped like some Japanese hotels. For luggage storage the bed sat tall enough for an expanded 27 inch luggage laid on its back and a 22 inch luggage on its side with space for another piece of luggage. You also have the option of reserving a half hour time slot to use the hot spring bath which was very relaxing. But my favorite thing about the hotel was the rooftop terrace to watch the Shinkansen and commuter trains go by as well as views of Fuji and the Tokyo SKYTREE There wasn’t anything I didn’t like but I can see people having issues with trains going by late at night but again that didn’t bother me one bit.

The breakfast menu offers a limited selection of items.

The location is a less busy area but right beside the station it’s a great spot for an adult and the rooftop view is amazing Rooms are fairly small

Friendly staff I booked a twin room expecting a bit of space, but what I got felt more like two single beds forced into a room barely big enough for one. There was no desk, no chair, nowhere to sit except the beds themselves, which made working or even placing personal items awkward. I’ve stayed in plenty of compact rooms before, but this setup felt impractical rather than cozy.

The staff at this property were lovely, providing us with free drinks upon arrival. They also provided free water refills and a microwave and toaster. We also had access to a public bath and a free washing machine/dryer which was very helpful. There was room cleaning available everyday and pyjama sets were provided. The bathroom was a bit small, but overall clean and had good water pressure. Overall our stay was very comfortable and a great experience. The accomodation was a short distance from the train station - just a little walk up a hill. However, I found the place to be slightly more isolated than other hotels, with the closest convenience store being ~10-15 min walk. The room was also bit tight with all of our luggage, but manageable.

to get there though there were either stairs or an uphill road, but both very close. the room was fine, clean but a bit small. there was no room for the luggage (could store them under the bed). also the bathroom is fine but if you are tall you are going to have a hard time showering. there are hot springs in the hotel that are free but not tattoo friendly and also a small gym.

We loved the views and the convenience to the Tabata station. The free laundry was also very nice and appreciated. Not much that we didn’t like!
