The room has everything you need, and the location was great

THE LOCATION WAS EXCELLENT, SITUATED CONVENIENTLY NEAR A TRAIN STATION, SHOPPING, AND RESTAURANTS. THE ROOM WAS IMMACULATE EQUIPPED WITH A WASHER AND DRYER.

The service was excellent, the staff really went the extra mile to communicate with us in English, they even helped us move our luggage into our room! The washing machine and dryer was excellent and very useful throughout the trip, the microwave is very clean too and we constantly use it. The 2nd floor Jonathan's restaurant is closed but many websites state that its still open. It's ok as there was many nearby places to eat as well, especially at the train station, there is also a 7/11 nearby for midnight snacks.

I had a great stay at Tokyu Stay Gotanda and would definitely recommend it. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the train station, which made getting around Tokyo incredibly convenient. The staff were very accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay special. We were visiting for our engagement, and they surprised us with a thoughtful gift, which was such a nice personal touch and made the experience even more memorable. The only thing to note is that the rooms are on the smaller side, but that’s pretty standard for Tokyo and was expected. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay in a very convenient location, with service that really stood out.

Bathroom was a little small, but that's okay, I was busy walking around Tokyo anyways.

Amazing location surrounded by a lot of awesome food spots and close to the station. Would definitely rebook in the future when visiting Japan again.

The staff is excellent, theres complimentary coffee and refreshments and the location is very convenient.

The room had everything you could need, including a washer and dryer. It was clean and comfortable and the staff were super accommodating as we had a cancelled flight and got to the hotel at 2am. We were communication through email and they were very responsive. It was very close to the a train line.

This was our second time visiting Tokyu Stay Gotanda and our first time doing our reservation via Booking.com. The reservation through booking was super smooth and we got the best price available. There were no issues when checking in at the hotel and we already knew we liked the hotel based on our last trip to Tokyo. The location is also perfect, only 5 minutes from the Yamanote line and literally right in front of the Asakusa line. Since we were staying for 3 weeks, the amenities in the room were the reason we chose to stay with a Tokyu Stay location in the first place. The in-room washer/dryer allowed us to pack lighter and wash outfits daily. It's also amazing to have a microwave in the room as well, since that was not a common (in-room) amenity I saw in other Japanese hotels. The kitchenette was a welcome addition, and though we didn't use it for cooking, it was nice to have the option. I think we would consider renting the rice cooker and pans next time we visit to try cooking ourselves. You also get a larger sized mini-fridge than a normal hotel with a dedicated freezer section for any ice cream you bring back! The rooms were clean, there was a decent amount of space compared to other Japanese hotels, and the bathroom was great, even though the toilet was in the bath area. The only downside is that the beds can be a bit difficult to get used to if you're used to a softer bed at home. They're pretty firm, enough so that it took a few days to properly adapt and get a good nights rest, but that seems to be common across most Japanese hotels, so we accepted it here. They also offered full cleanings 1x a week with ad hoc towel changes/trash collection done as needed based on a sign system on the door. Aside from the room itself, the hotel lobby was nice, if a bit small. The staff were always very nice and helpful every day of our stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! Beds are a bit firm and hard to get used to. Room is a tad small compared to western hotels.

Room was spacious, clean and well equipped. I also love that there was a washing machine in the room. Due to available space of the location but: Lobby/check in area was cramped. It would have been good if the location could serve breakfast.

My family and I continue to choose Tokyu Stay Gotanda for our visits to Tokyo. The location is ideal for visiting our local relatives, and the hotel itself stands out among others in the Gotanda district. We find that this specific location provides the best balance of room layout, amenities, and professional service. Each stay has been a positive experience, and we feel it offers excellent value. Convenient location just outside Gotanda station which is not too big or too busy. Front desk allowed us to drop off our luggage prior to check in but had a small fee for checking in prior to official check in time. Room was clean, large enough, and included a washer/dryer, microwave, and hot pot. Will stay here again.

- each room has a washer/dryer combo - TV has Netflix and YouTube app and others. - I've stayed in a few of the different style rooms available, and they're all nice. - Asakusa Line entrance in front of hotel - 2 doors down is a 7-11. Family Mart across the street (use the asakusa line entrance to go under and over to that side). Lawsons around the corner - Don Quijote is around the other corner from the hotel - 1 block away is Yamanote Line entrance - Shibuya is 4 stops away on YL. Shinjuku 3 more after that - Shinigawa is 2 stops the other way on YL. Akihabara a couple more after that. I stay here everytime because it's just worth the convenience. dont fall asleep with the washer/dryer running. When it finishes it will beep all night unless you open it.
