Toyoko Inn Tokyo Station Shin Ohashi Mae

Nice clean hotel, with a very helpful shuttle bus to and from Tokyo station. The breakfast was also good and helped us start off the day well. The TV was decently sized and good for watching a couple of World Cup games while we were there. A little cramped but that’s pretty much all spaces in Tokyo!

The train station shuttle service was a lifesaver since it's 40 minutes walking distance from the Tokyo Train Station. Breakfast was delicious and filling. The location by Hamacho Park and the Sumida River was enchanting. Upon check-in, the front desk staff were very short with us. Distance from the Tokyo Train Station upon arrival, which was after 12:00 a.m. at night (as budget travelers).

The hotel was very nice and we would choose it again for our stay in Tokyo. Its location was good, close on foot to 3 metro lines and the free shuttle bus they provide for Tokyo station is extremely helpful. The rooms were clean and surprisingly spacious (taking into consideration that we had 2 big pieces of luggage and a smaller one). Plus, even though the hotel is located nearby a busy highroad, it was extremely quiet! Breakfast was also decent. It was a bit weird that hotel staff doesn't speak english, but they were more than accommodative and willing to help. A bit inconvenient if you wish to use the washing / drying machines, because it only has 3 of each (with coins) and they were occupied all the time we were there and tried to use them.

Good hotel. Very clean. Near (7-10 minute walk) from Metro. Overall, a good hotel with an 'ok' location. A few things. First: I made my booking on this 3d party site. As I got closer to my check-in dates, I attempted to make 'direct' contact with the hotel; I did not want to use this 3d party site for this...I want to make direct contact with the hotel for this confirmation. The Tokyo-Inn hotel site for this location did not work. I tried several times, but did not work. When I used this 3d party site to send the confirmation message, the message received with this 3d party site would not open. I needed to contact the 3d party site customer service so they could read me the message from the hotel...!!! If the Tokyo-Inn message system worked, I could have made that contact directly and quickly. The other negative with this hotel was the location to any convenience stores. I asked the hotel for the location of the nearest "Conbi" (convenience store), but that store was not there...or the directions given was not good. There was a Family Mart about 10 minutes away, as instructed by the hotel; was about a 10-minute walk.

It is really close to the JR station, so if anyone has JR pass or want to travel a lot using JR train in Tokyo, this hotel can be one of the consideration Quite far from Tokyo city center

LOCATION, Hamacho station is a really close to nature station and also I can see the Tokyo Tower from my room while doing self-reflection Maybe the amenities quite lacking compare to other hotel I stay

Best thing for this hotel is shuttle service to/from Tokyo Station. Staff were so friendly and helpful Room is very small hard to get stuff in

Simple no frills stay for two people. Comfortable and well to do for a night or two maximum. The breakfast is good The room is small for two people but if you are staying just for a night or two maximum it wouldn't matter. The number of sockets are too less.

The breakfast was to die for. I was excited for it every morning. The shuttle to and from tokyo station was also extremely useful.

Bed was not as soft as I'd like

Stuff, price, location was fantastic: 5 minutes walk from Hamacho station Shinjuku line. I had the parcel held for me for about a week before I’ve arrived. Very nice park nearby. Free breakfast, pretty good too Bridge just opposite the windows of the room, could here some noise but not too bad

The staff was professional, answered questions and took care of requests. The amenities provided were welcomed. And there was a shuttle service to and from the train station. Located in a quiet part of Tokyo. The shuttle only ran during certain hours. And the hotel was a distance from the train station.

The breakfast was fine. Nothing crazy special but basic was ok. The AC was great. Quiet part of town. Once we found the shuttle pick up and drop off, it was very handy to and from Tokyo station (bus is not marked and hard to find the pick up location on first try. The beds were very hard. There are no stairs so you are completely stuck to the elevators that are extremely slow. The check in process was extremely long.

It was a hotel according to its rate. I must highlight a couple of things that I loved, the first was the breakfast and the second was the view from our small room. The room was very small, the bed hard and short and despite having booked for two adults and a child we did not even have an extra bed.
