Nearby to Sugamo Station and easy to find it. Just 4 mins walk to the hotel. Clean and nice room. Friendly staffs. Nice surrounding with shops, supermarket, restaurants which is very convenient for us.

Excellent location (near the train station), comfortable rooms, and a relaxing onsen. Great value for money and a perfect base for exploring Tokyo. Highly recommended!" ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I was initially assigned a room with an unpleasant odor, which I first thought might be cigarette smoke due to my sensitivity to it. The staff promptly checked the room, acknowledged the odor, and immediately transferred me to another room. Their quick response and helpful service were much appreciated.

Prime location, half a block walk to the station. 2 in the crosswalk away to jizo dori. 2 stations away from a major spot like Ikebukuro. Walking distances to 1 mall and 2 convenience stores. Bonus: has a coin laundry. The room is small for the cost (an acceptable trade-off for how good the location is). I felt the wall was a bit dusty, so sleeping in a king-size bed against the wall is difficult. We moved from a double bed to a twin bed, and our sleeping issues are resolved.

I have stayed in other APA Hotels before and as I expected, you barely have any extra space in the room. I was also frustrated when they missed to make up my room.

When I need to be away for a couple of days during the stay, they don`t store my luggage and ask me to use the coin locker but the suitcases don't fit so I had to send them to my friends and then send them back to the hotel. VERY incovenient. Don't understand why they do that. I hate those services they don't offer for the customer and are not on the customer side, so not customer-focused.

It would be better if the have a scale to weigh luggage. They offered a small hand use weight measure tool. The thing couldn’t holds the luggage well cause my luggage handle broken and the belt of the tool bounced back hurt my son’s eye.

Good location in Tokyo to reach main sites with the metro. Busy hotel with onsen on top floor, which added a pleasant end-of-day relaxation.

Proximity to JR lirn and subway 10/10 Proximity to restaurants and 7/11 also 10/10 Staff 10/10, helpful when I had to make some rearrangements of my nights of stay Cost 10/10 Some of the pillows weren't comfortable and left me w neck pain. I probably could've asked for another soft nice one, as me and partner were only supplied w one of that particular type

During my recent stay, I discovered what seems to be some type carpet beetle larvae on my bed sheets and dirty underwear underneath my bed. This is a serious hygiene issue and does not meet basic cleanliness standards. This incident occurred on my last day with you guys, i notified the staff on my way out while checking out. I will attach photos regarding the issue. I am requesting a partial refund due to this experience. Please let me know how this can be resolved. Thank you.

Perfect location to family mart and a small 711. Great location near two subway! Staff always friendly! nothing to complain about. Small room but that is all of Japan, nothing against the hotel itself.

The hotel was very close to Sugamo Station (around 200m). Around the hotel there are several restaurants and coffees. Also there was a Family Mart just crossing the street and around 3 blocks there is a super market. From Sugamo Station you can go easily by Yamanote Line to Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ueno or Akihabara As usual in this kind of hotel, the room is a little small.

Very good location, about 3 minutes walk from Sugamo station. There seems to be lots of shops and restaurants around as well so it's a good spot to stay in. The lobby does get very busy so you might have to wait a bit to get your things sorted. The onsen was a nice touch, not very big but great to soak your tiredness away. The room is very small but we managed to make do. We unfortunately forgot some things at this hotel, which we realised after we were back home. We contacted the hotel and the cleaning staff found our things and put them aside for us for 3 months. They can mail within Japan but not overseas so luckily we had a friend in Tokyo. We are very grateful.

The location was perfect, there was the local train and the JR just a block away. It was 30 min train ride to Shibuya and Harajuku. There was always a way to get to the hotel with ease. You can connect to the wifi and stream your Netflix on the T.V. This one has an onsen and washing machines. There is a 7/11, Lawson, KFC, Domino's, Burger King, McDonald's, and local restaurants all within 3-5 min away walking. The room gets cleaned every 3 days, and it's small compared to Western-style hotels. Some beds at APA's have space to put your luggage underneath.
