Two things were upsetting about this stay. First of all, during the period of my stay the temperature outside was 30 degrees and more, and the room did not have a normally functioning air conditioner. The temperature in the rooms is managed universally, and the only thing you can use to cool down is an electric fan, which does not cool the room down, it simply blows slightly colder air at you. It was still too hot in the room for my comfort. The second disappointing thing was poor Wi-Fi connection, especially in the evenings. Often it was so poor that I couldn’t even watch a YouTube video without it lagging. If you plan to have online meetings while staying in this hotel – don’t.

The breakfast was quite good, with a variety of both western and Japanese food. I enjoyed making and eating a salmon/sashimi tuna/mountain vegetable array over cooked white rice. It was the perfect ending to a trip to Japan!

Compared to US standards the rooms are tiny. On the other hand they were quite alright to just have a sleep overnight.

Clean, location is 15-20 min walk from Shinjuku station. 7/11 and Lawsons very close. Great 7/11, spent a lot of time there. Room size was ok, we had two seperate single beds and were just able to have both suitcases open while still being able to walk through. Check in time being 3pm, luggage storage you did yourself - there were locks, if no place for your bags (taken by everyone) you could not store. Beds were a little hard and was only given a small pillow.

The cleanness, friendly staff, the laundry room, the smoking room The room’s small size of only 16 m² made it difficult to comfortably accommodate two adults and their luggage.

We loved the convenience of the shops and restaurants within the hotel. The hotel had a very nice layout. Everything was clean and lovely. We especially appreciated the variety of amenities provided. Our room was very comfortable and we appreciated having our own fridge.

Very easy hotel, great breakfast buffet available!! And just a short walk to shinjuku station made it very convenient.

The staff who spoke fluent English greeted us and helped us with the checkin. It went smoothly and we were briefed about breakfast and where everything is. The room was cleaned routinely once every 3 days even though it was in fairly clean condition. The conbinis were just downstairs and easily accessible. There is also an underground passage directly to major train stations, even though it could get hot and stuffy at times during summer. It was a short 10 minute stroll from Shinjuku station on the ground, but we found it good that we are not actually staying in the night clubs areas where the actions are happening at night. The standard room size, compared to other hotels, was alright for two people with big and small luggages. It is the same as a typical inside cabin of a cruise ship as a reference. The hotel had self-storage for luggage’s with a lock which was easy to use. We loved the fact that we could have breakfast in either the main building or in the annex. We tried out different options and we enjoyed the breakfast everyday. Overall, the experience was good. On some days of our stay there, the breakfast in the main building got really busy and the food ran out quickly. Some food was not topped up frequently.

The breakfast was amazing, especially in the annex, with very tasteful Japanese-style options, while the main building offered more Western-style choices. The location is also very convenient.

The location and room size was great. We booked the twin bedroom and there was plenty of space to unpack our luggage etc. There were some restaurants and convenience stores located in the building which was super convienent after a long day of walking around. The beds were a little bit firmer than what I was used to and when it's raining the floor outside was potentially a bit slippery.
