I didn't know at first that the bathroom and toilets are shared. But for the price, it's okay

The women sink upstairs was plugged. Delight in the downstairs tub area flickered on and off it didn't work properly.

I like the location and the price, Hotel is Japanese style, Bathroom and Toilette are all shared with other people, Bad smell with no window, the Curtain dropped down when you sleep on the first night. Slipper are shared too, no one you can complain to during the whole time you stay there.

Perfect location, nice and quiet at night but 10-15 minutes walk from all the nightlife. Very noisy guest- 3 or 4 out of the 7 nights we had people next door making so much noise all night long. Not the hotels problem, just bad guest.

There’s sweet and bitter feeling about the place : it’s nestled between a quiet, narrow uphill alley so guests with large suitcases can find it challenging. There are FamilyMart, 7 eleven and fast food joints nearby along with close proximity to subway and public bus transportation. Once you’re there, the overall design looks not too shabby with authentic japanese-feel ordinary bedroom. Toilets, sinks and showers (fair amount of them) are sharing with guests. The hygiene is well maintained everyday. Be prepared for the hot shower though, always turn the temperature panel on to ensure you get hot water flowing through because once you forget to do so, you get the freezing cold water for the shower

We like the location was more traditional and not inside Tokyo , very quiet and easy to the Subway , it was good value of money. We like the amenities and also common spaces were clean all the time so we are happy. The size of the room was very small for 4 people, I was expecting something a bit bigger, we all had luggage’s and we couldn’t fit everything inside, I recommend you make sure you check you have a bigger room If you are more of 2 people, for two nights was ok but the space was very small.

I liked that once we figured out you can get to the property via train at a closer location than shinjuku (make sure you walk from shinjuku once or you’ll miss the giant cat right after you exit the east gate from the station, piss alley is also near by, both are great to view at night) made it easier on the legs. The owner was amazing and super helpful. There are multiple drink vending machines close by, there is two drug stores/pharmacies within a 5 minute walk. Loads of restaurants close by. Easy access to everything! It would have been nice if there was hand soap in all the dispensers at the property. Other than that everything was great.

Just a simple room with futons to roll out on the floor. Had good shared facilities like a big mirror with sinks and hair dryers. Good adjustable lighting so the light could be on low and not disturb people sleeping Had some trouble checking in as we didn't recieve any check in info. We had to call a few numbers and had some trouble getting through but we did arrive late due to our flight and a staff member arrived within 15 minutes.

There is no soap for washing hands. The room is hard to lock.

I love this place. So quiet and plenty of toilet to share. And heater is always on make me very warm. Close to train station and omoide yococho and 15 minutes walk to shinjuku express bus station. I would definitely come back here.
