I liked that there was some covered parking, and that there was an elevator that I could use to get to the second floor. I also liked that it was a fairly safe area that wasn't too far away from Redondo Beach. Although I checked into my room kinda of late at night, it was a decent room size for myself. I connected my laptop and could connect to the wifi to do some work. And I made use of both the refrigerator and microwave during my short stay. For the price it was a pretty worthwhile stay for me.

Second time staying here. Excellent value parking is easy and well-lit, and the staff is great. Love the improved logo, and the change to have an in-room microwave instead of a general one for the floor (at least in my room). 5 minute walk to great coffee and a couple other local area favorites.

I stayed here upon the belief that this property rated around 8.4, which was not true. I was questioned about my credit card although my photo was on the card. The 2nd floor where I stayed had a stench that radiated down the hallway. There was someone else's hair in my wash cloth and in the bathtub. There was a noticeable amount of paint missing around the window frame.

But beds were clean, floors were clean. Wasn't to bad.

Since the room was next to the elevator it was very noise as people were using it ! It was very hard to get any towels or supplies as cleaning person was quiet reluctant and told us room service every other day

Property being newly renovated ( Previously known as Super8) All rooms are clean, and amenities included as mini-fridges, microwave ovens & coffee makers. Property definitely a 100% improvement from SUPER8 to now Torrance Inn Lax.

Entire hotel has been newly renovated & are very clean. All rooms now have mini fridges, microwave ovens & coffee makers. Parking on the property is plentiful both in the open lot & the covered lot part of the property. Except during holiday weekends.

Tv didn’t work, room is dirty and poorly constructed. Having my kids with me and the tv not working was a pain.

The only problem I had was that it was hard to communicate with the desk staff. They came off as rude. Maybe because of language barrier?

Fine, unadorned clean room. Usual amenities except no tea bags. Friendlier staff. No smiles, no happy to see you. Attitude was one of indifference. Perhaps we disturbed whatever they were doing?

We chose this hotel for the value and proximity to the Carnival terminal. It's also very close to the historic Torrance High School! We were able to visit the high school and filming location of Buffy Summers' house! There was a strong cigarette smoke odor in the hallway.
