Miyako Hybrid Hotel Torrance

We had breakfast at the restaurant and it was beautifully presented and the staff was very courteous and polite. Wonderful offering of Japanese style breakfast and American style foods as well. The rooms were spacious and quiet. Did not have a chance to see the gym nor the pool. Great location. Would stay here again.

Nice vibe and service

Our stay was enjoyable and restful. I really liked the Japanese experience when it came to amenities and comfort. The blackout curtains and noise free environment guaranteed a great night sleep. I felt very rested and slept comfortably on the mattress and pillows. The room was impeccable as far cleanliness and the 12pm checkout is more than adequate.

Location was good and the room/ bathroom was very comfortable and clean. Japanese style, minimalist decoration. The parking is free of charge. Sometimes the smell of the restaurant was in the hall.

This is my favorite place in SF. The hotel is clean and modern (lots of convenient outlets and Toto toilets) and very convenient location in relation to retail and things to do. Staff service is exception from the bellman to the front desk, everyone was courteous and attentive. As a One Key Platinum they gave me a nice upgrade with early check in and late check out. There's a resort fee but the F&B credit makes it acceptable since the restaurant has a nice mix of western and Japanese choices. I've stayed here many times and will continue to do so.

The room was not ready at check-in time. While trying to be understanding - the staff gave no ETA on when the room would be ready, just simply "we do not know". So we had no idea whether it would be 15 minutes or hours. It is also unclear if they even called me to inform me when the room would be ready after just deciding to come back later that night. There was no sense of urgency or sense of being apologetic for the delay. We saw several others with the same delay, one person being nice but proactively had to ask for drink vouchers (we were not given any vouchers). When we finally came back that night we also overheard other visitors still not receiving towels or pillows. The service was just very disappointing overall.

went to their in house restaurant and was told i Cant order a Bento meal coz its only for JAL guest s which was sad coz we arrived late and saw a Japanese lady order one and was declined when asked if i can order too. we ended up ordering thru doordash, wish they could have extended it to all guests

Old property with old towels. Needs a proper update.

The rooms were not ready at check-in. Many people were trying to get in at 3pm but were being turned away. We had to wait 1.5 hours in the lobby.

Beautiful hotel to stay in. Staff was amazing.
