MS Tropicana Costa del Sol

This was located in a great location to the pathway along the beach. There are a lot of options for food and shopping close by. We enjoyed the access to the nearby MS Hotel pool and spa. This place was very pricey for the quality. The room was not very sound proof, so you could hear every person that walked down the hallway. The cleaning staff didn't understand a do not disturb sign on the handle. We had to open our door while taking a nap because the cleaning lady was trying to get in even with the sign on the door.

Location was perfect all the staff were excellent

It is literally steps to the boardwalk and beach. Renting the beach towels has to be done through their sister property. The breakfast is nice but doesn't change and is sometimes not refilled. You can visit their sister restaurant for a dinner option for €25 plus drinks but don't bother. It was not worth the money.

Not much Dirty bed linen Unfriendly staff in breakfast room. The hot water was cool for tea. Food cold.

The hotel and it's sister hotel, MS Amaragua were very good. The cooked breakfast items being cold and having to microwave them.

location of the hotel and clean and calm .. and you have access to the sister hotel MS Amaragua ( swimming pool and the Resturant ) . the breakfast was good no WiFi in the room at all. we took 3 rooms non of the rooms have complete sea view only partial and the balconies facing the rooms of the next hotel, no trim services and no kettle to prepare your own coffee

Exceptional

Breakfast provided on site was generally OK but only luke warm and needs to be heated using the microwave, even for the coffee. Location on the Carihuela is excellent and provides opportunity to stroll comfortably to shops and catering facilities. Generally acceptable facilities but could be better. Leaks in the dining area and no courtesy changing room which would assist rather than paying 60euro for a two or three hour late departure fee to stay in the room. Room was well looked after although the sliding balcony door did not lock. Reported on day one but still not fixed on departure (day 5). New umbrellas introduced to provide protection from the sun.

the location is great for the beach. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely pool area at the front of the hotel. The lifts were tiny, the bathroom layout was not the best. Could not get the air conditioning to work. requested a twin room but due to capacity only a double was available. Could not use the balcony as birds nested in the canopy and left deposits on the chair.

Not as good as a few years ago, a bit tired around pool area. Probably wouldn’t spend that about of money and stay again

Location was excellent. Nice hotel Didn't like hotdogs, should never be served at breakfast. Coffee could be hotter from the machine. No iron, or ironing board!! This is a must going forward, guests arrive with jam-packed suitcases,again...a must!
